This was my first solo trip to Korea, and staying at Garosugil Homestay - Female Only made the experience truly special. Located in the quiet, upscale neighborhood of Gangnam, it's peaceful yet convenient—just a short walk from subway access and with a 7-Eleven and a small grocery store nearby. The room was immaculate, with thoughtful touches like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, and toothpaste provided. I even got a complimentary set of pajamas and a sweet handwritten welcome note with my last name—such a personal touch! The room had all the essentials: air conditioning, mini-fridge, night light, power adapter, and hairdryer. My hostess was incredibly kind—she speaks Korean, Japanese, and some English, and she’s actively learning Mandarin too. She helped me carry my luggage and went out of her way to make me feel at home. The breakfast was beautifully prepared, presented with care, and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to come back again—it’s one of those rare stays that feels more like visiting family than just booking a room.
Staying at Yeoksam Bare was an absolute highlight of my trip to Seoul! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Gangnam, with the metro station right outside the door. I could easily reach any part of the city using the subway system, making travel super convenient. The price was very reasonable for such a prime spot, offering great value for money. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly—they went out of their way to assist with recommendations and even helped me plan my itinerary. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials I needed. Overall, it was a comfortable and stress-free stay in a vibrant area. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul, especially those who appreciate convenience, good service, and a great location without breaking the bank.
I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.
I stayed here a few times and overall, I was quite satisfied. The location is right between Gangnam Station and Namdaemun Station, making it super convenient for subway access—perfect if you're exploring Seoul. That said, the area is packed with motels, and the building doesn’t clearly say 'hotel' on the outside, so finding it can be tricky. You only see the sign once you’re inside the lobby. The room felt more like a spacious apartment than a traditional hotel—very comfortable, cozy, and homey. There were quite a few long-term residents too, which added to the quiet, lived-in vibe. Cleaning and towel quality were decent, but customer service left a lot to be desired. Phone numbers weren't easy to find, and when I did call, some lines were disconnected or went unanswered. Those who answered seemed unfamiliar with basic info—almost like temporary staff with no training—and their attitude was notably unfriendly. It made me question whether this place was real at all. For a hotel that serves short-term guests, better staff training is definitely needed. Parking fees are also extremely high—would’ve been great if there was a discount for guests. One major downside: the access code is only activated at 6 PM. Even arriving just a minute early means you can't get in, which caused some serious confusion. This detail should be clearly mentioned somewhere. Otherwise, all facilities are brand new and well-maintained. If you're looking for a quiet, apartment-style stay with good value and don’t mind a self-service setup, this place is worth considering—especially for younger travelers. However, older guests might struggle with the automated system.
Staying at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul was definitely a splurge, but honestly, every penny felt justified. The views from the room were absolutely breathtaking—especially at night when the city lights stretched out like a glittering sea. The hotel’s elegance, service, and overall atmosphere made it feel like a true luxury escape. While it’s not cheap, the experience is worth it if you’re looking for something special. It’s also well-located for exploring Seoul, with great transit access nearby. For a memorable stay in the heart of the city, this place delivers on all fronts—highly recommend for anyone seeking a premium experience.
Staying at Conrad Seoul was an absolute delight! The views of the Han River and the hotel's elegant design truly stood out—every corner felt luxurious and thoughtfully crafted. What really impressed me was the housekeeping staff who meticulously arranged my cosmetics every day, making me feel almost guilty for using them! 😂 The front desk and concierge team were incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. On one occasion, I was running late for a scheduled photoshoot, and the doorman not only proactively called the studio to request a time extension but also immediately helped me secure a taxi—all while showing more urgency than I did! That level of dedication and care is rare and deeply appreciated. This place isn’t just a stay; it’s a memorable experience from start to finish.
The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.
We’re both light sleepers, so we intentionally booked a two-bedroom suite for this trip—and it was absolutely the right choice. The rooms were spacious, incredibly clean, and so quiet that we slept like babies. The front desk staff went above and beyond—they helped us call a taxi and even gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. It made our stay stress-free and super enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back to Seoul and staying here again. Highly recommend! 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Staying at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Gangnam was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Gangnam Street, making it super convenient for shopping, dining, and exploring the area. The room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious for Seoul, where space is usually tight. I was especially impressed by the soundproofing; I slept peacefully throughout the night without any noise disturbance from neighboring rooms or the hallway. The front desk staff were professional, friendly, and communicated clearly in English, making check-in and check-out quick and hassle-free. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and a comfortable stay in one of Seoul’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Highly recommended for travelers who want convenience, comfort, and quality service.
Staying at ANDAZ SEOUL GANGNAM, BY HYATT was an absolute delight — once again, I’m reminded why this hotel continues to stand out. The front desk staff were young, energetic, and genuinely warm — they even arranged early check-in without hesitation, which made my arrival so much smoother and more enjoyable. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed with attention to every little detail. Complimentary minibar and snacks? Yes, please — no extra charges, just pure convenience and comfort. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable. Right in the heart of Gangnam, surrounded by upscale dining options — whether you’re craving Korean cuisine or international flavors, everything is within walking distance. This was my third time choosing ANDAZ, and each visit has exceeded the last. The service, the ambiance, the overall vibe — it all feels more refined with every stay. It’s now firmly on my list of go-to hotels for future trips. Can’t wait to come back! 💖
Staying at the Josun Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Seoul Gangnam was an exceptional experience. The service and amenities were top-notch—everything from the elegant rooms to the attentive staff exceeded expectations. While the location isn’t in the heart of the bustling city center and there aren’t many shops or attractions right outside, that’s actually one of its charms: it offers a peaceful, quiet retreat amidst the urban energy of Seoul. Getting to major sights requires a short ride by taxi or subway, but the hotel’s convenient access to public transport makes it easy. For travelers seeking comfort, privacy, and a refined atmosphere, this is a truly rewarding choice. The value for money is excellent, especially if you're looking for a serene escape without sacrificing luxury.
Staying at Mondrian Seoul Itaewon was an absolute delight. The hotel is incredibly close to Itaewon, making it super convenient whether you're walking or taking public transit. The property itself feels brand new—modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the spacious lobby area; it’s a perfect spot to unwind with a drink or just relax before heading out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Whether you’re exploring Itaewon’s trendy shops or heading over to Hannam-dong for a quiet coffee, everything is within easy reach. This place truly delivers on comfort, location, and service—definitely one of the best stays in Seoul.
