The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned every day; the housekeeping staff were attentive and proactive. What really stood out was the location—right on the banks of the Xiang River. I could enjoy the stunning nighttime light show across both sides of the river from my window—absolutely breathtaking. The service was exceptional too, especially the front desk staff member, Xiao Cao. I accidentally left an item behind, and she reached out immediately to arrange shipping it back to me. The package I booked during Double 11 included breakfast, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The room is perfectly positioned with a direct view of the Xiang River, offering stunning nighttime views of the opposite bank's light show—truly magical. The window seat features a chaise lounge perfect for lounging while soaking in the scenery; I couldn’t stop staring out the window. The bathroom is thoughtfully designed with a clean separation between wet and dry areas, plus there’s a deep soaking tub—ideal for unwinding after a long day. The front desk staff, Lisha, was incredibly friendly, professional, and warm—the kind of service that truly reflects the InterContinental standard. Located right next to Changsha Museum and Beichen Hui Mall, the hotel offers easy access to culture, shopping, and scenic walks along the river. Spend your mornings basking in the sun by the water or enjoy the golden hour sunset in the evening—this place feels like a peaceful escape without being far from everything. It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience. Highly recommend!
