The highlight? The lounge’s afternoon tea and dinner. The food is exceptional—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and far beyond what you’d expect at many five-star properties. On New Year’s Day, I was delighted to see service staff Feng Xiangchao again. He remembered my preference for warm dishes and kindly heated up the seafood before serving—such thoughtful attention to detail. The next day, another team member, He Xu, took time to recommend the best desserts and gently reminded parents to watch the kids—small things that show how genuinely care about guests’ comfort. During dinner, I met a couple with their child, who shared they also make it a habit to visit a luxury hotel every weekend. After trying several places, they keep coming back to Kempinski—not just for the food or rooms, but because of the warmth, the genuine hospitality, and that sense of home. Parking is only 40 RMB per day, which is very reasonable. Right now, the lobby is beautifully decorated with a stunning Christmas tree and festive touches throughout—definitely sets a cheerful mood. The elevators automatically light up your floor when you swipe your key card—a nice tech touch. Room space is generous, clean, and well-organized, with both shower and bathtub available. Even small details like alcohol wipes, toilet seat covers, and bath mats were thoughtfully provided. Only minor note: the hairdryer wasn’t the most powerful. The rooftop lounge on the 23rd floor offers afternoon tea and happy hour for guests with privileges—great for unwinding. Breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant was fantastic: a wide variety of coffee options, freshly made, plus an unexpected highlight—hard-boiled eggs already peeled! We stayed at The Westin Beijing Chaoyang on November 3rd with my partner, and the entire experience was exceptional. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, making check-in smooth and efficient. The lobby is spacious and modern, with a luxurious vibe that immediately sets the tone for a premium stay. We were on the 17th floor—our room was over 40 square meters, offering plenty of space and a clean, well-organized layout. Everything felt thoughtfully designed: the bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was spotless with smart dry/wet separation, and all amenities were top-notch. From the high-quality toiletries to the mini-fridge stocked with drinks, every detail added to the sense of comfort and convenience. Breakfast was a highlight—huge variety, fresh ingredients, and excellent presentation across both Chinese and Western options. The dining area was quiet and cozy, perfect for a relaxed morning meal. My stay at Crowne Plaza Beijing Lido was absolutely outstanding. Ava, one of the staff members, went above and beyond with her warm and attentive service—always smiling, helpful, and genuinely thoughtful. The room was immaculate, spotlessly clean, and beautifully appointed with all the essentials. The bedding was plush and comfortable, giving me a restful night’s sleep without any disruptions. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is quiet and elegant, making it a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority—everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Plus, free parking is a huge plus for those traveling by car. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety of options, including both Western and local favorites, and every dish tasted fresh and delicious. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel delivers exceptional value. I’ll definitely be booking again on my next trip to Beijing—highly recommend!
