Staying at Four Points by Sheraton Seoul Gangnam was an absolute delight! Located right in the heart of Gangnam, the hotel is incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the subway station and within easy reach of Olive Young, where I picked up some skincare essentials. The neighborhood itself is packed with great dining options; several popular restaurants featured on social media were just a few minutes away on foot. I loved how everything was so accessible—whether it was exploring local cuisine or hopping on the train for a day trip. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance between location, comfort, and value. Definitely worth recommending to anyone visiting Seoul.

Housekeeping was top-notch; everything was spotless and meticulously maintained. Breakfast was delicious and varied—great options to start the day right. I especially want to thank the front desk for helping me out when my luggage didn’t arrive until the next day—they kindly lent me a charger, which made a huge difference. It’s these thoughtful gestures that truly make a hotel stand out. I left feeling completely satisfied and already thinking about coming back. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro
The location is incredibly convenient—take the airport bus 6015 and get off at Euljiro 2-ga, then just turn left and you’ll spot the hotel right away. The front desk staff were very friendly and communicative during check-in, and housekeeping comes every two days while bed linens are changed every three days—really good attention to cleanliness. There’s some construction noise from nearby work sites during the day, but since we stayed out late exploring, it didn’t bother me at all. The area is packed with convenience stores, and there’s a little shop right downstairs that I ended up visiting almost daily—it’s amazing, with delicious food and a kind staff member who speaks Chinese and gives great recommendations. They also pointed us toward a fantastic grill restaurant across the street, which turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip. Overall, this place offers excellent value, comfort, and a great neighborhood vibe. I’d definitely stay here again when I return to Seoul.
Sejong Hotel Seoul Myeongdong
The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk from Myeongdong Subway Station Exit 10, with the airport bus stop just 50 meters away. The hotel itself feels a bit dated, so be prepared to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste—these aren’t provided, and there’s a small fee of 1,000 KRW if you need to rent them. Check-in is at 3 PM, but they offer luggage storage, which was helpful. The front desk has self-check-in kiosks, and staff speak basic Chinese, which made things easier. While the service wasn’t particularly memorable or personalized, it was efficient and hassle-free. Overall, this is a solid choice if you’re looking for a no-frills, central stay in Seoul with great access to transit and attractions. For the price, it offers excellent value.

The Cube Hotel
The Cube Hotel is perfectly located just a short walk up the hill from Myeongdong Subway Station, making it super convenient for exploring Seoul. Right across from the entrance is a 7-Eleven, so grabbing snacks or essentials is easy. Check-in is self-service—after entering, you’ll find your name and bunk number on a board, along with locker codes. There are two male dorms and three female ones, with separate bathrooms for each gender. The shared facilities include two sinks, three showers, and two toilets—plenty of space for a hostel. I stayed in the left-side room near the lockers; it has no window but features a quiet air purifier running constantly. Breakfast is included—just pop open the fridge (available only between 7–10 AM) to grab bread, milk, and basic items. A great perk is that walking uphill leads straight to Namsan Park and Namsan Tower. I even took morning walks here heading toward Itaewon, which made my days feel peaceful. The place is clean, well-maintained, and offers a cozy common area for working or eating. I never explored the ground floor, but honestly didn’t miss it. Most guests are international travelers, though I did spot a few locals too. The rooms are quiet—no late-night chatter—and each bed comes with curtains for privacy. Just bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to snoring. I stayed two nights before heading to Busan, and I’d definitely come back. Great value, excellent location, and a relaxing vibe—highly recommend.

Stayed in a double room on the 2nd floor and was really impressed. The bathroom had a bathtub, toilet with a bidet seat, and plenty of space—felt very spacious for two people. Water supply was generous, and if we needed more, housekeeping kindly topped it up. Smoking area is located on the 12th floor, clearly marked and easy to find. Front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay—truly made us feel welcome. The hotel is just steps from Jongno 5-ga Station, with direct access via Exit 12 and an escalator—perfect for getting around by subway. Nearby, you’ve got a convenience store, Starbucks, and best of all, daily visits to Gwangjang Market. That’s what made this trip so memorable—fresh food, local vibes, and great value. I’d definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place!
