We were incredibly lucky during the New Year holiday when the hotel upgraded our room at no extra cost—what a wonderful surprise! The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, even though the balcony felt a bit chilly. However, the view and overall atmosphere made it well worth it. The resort’s architecture is truly unique—each balcony feels like it’s nestled in a loft with a striking sloped design. Surrounded by serene mountain scenery, the property beautifully blends traditional elements: pavilions, bridges, and flowing waterways create a peaceful, almost dreamlike setting. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner on-site, and every meal was satisfying and delicious. It’s rare to find such charm, tranquility, and excellent service all in one place. A perfect getaway that exceeded all expectations.
The autumn in Jiangnan truly shines at Sisan Resort. From the moment I stepped in, I was wrapped in a serene and refined atmosphere—every corner of the hotel exudes character, with minimal crowds and an effortlessly calm vibe that’s perfect for a true staycation. The bathroom scent was subtle yet delightful, instantly setting a relaxing tone. The mini-bar was stocked with an impressive variety of snacks and drinks—perfect for late-night cravings or morning refreshments. But honestly, the highlight was the breakfast at Yueya Restaurant. It’s hands down the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had—endless options, beautifully presented, and each dish tasted thoughtfully crafted. I could’ve stayed there just for the food alone. The entire experience was flawless, and I couldn’t stop taking photos. Pure bliss. Definitely coming back.
I’ve always dreamed of experiencing the quiet elegance and poetic charm of West Lake, and staying at YAGU Resort Hangzhou truly exceeded my expectations. Nestled right by the lake, every view from the windows feels like a painting—morning mist drifting across the water, golden sunsets glowing over Leifeng Pagoda. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and gentle trickling streams, creating a serene escape from city life. From check-in to checkout, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Special shoutout to Mr. He at reception—he went above and beyond, personally escorting me to my room while sharing fascinating insights about the property and nearby attractions. When a small issue came up during my stay, he handled it quickly and thoughtfully. Breakfast was a highlight: a well-curated mix of Chinese and Western options, with standout dishes like freshly made lotus root paste and Dingsheng cake—delicate, sweet, and perfect with a cup of Longjing tea to start the day. The on-site restaurant serves exquisite Jiangnan fusion cuisine. The signature fish head dish is a masterpiece—blending classic Hangzhou flavors with modern techniques, where the aroma of fresh fragrant bamboo shoots dances with the savory depth of ham. I also enjoyed afternoon tea at the lounge, set in a beautifully designed space with panoramic views. The rooms are a thoughtful blend of traditional Chinese garden aesthetics and smart technology. The wooden furnishings, soft lighting, and top-quality bedding (rumored to be from the renowned Kingsdown brand) made for an incredibly restful night’s sleep. Complimentary mini-bar, cozy reading nooks, and a tranquil tea lounge add to the peaceful vibe. I indulged in a spa treatment—the therapist was gentle and skilled, leaving me completely relaxed. Just steps away, the fitness center and indoor pool are spotless and well-equipped, ideal for staying active during a trip. What really sets this place apart is its incredible value. For a luxury experience this refined, the price point feels refreshingly accessible. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with family, or on business, there's something here for everyone. And bonus? The included 3 free professional photoshoots—stunning shots against the resort’s picturesque backdrop, expertly captured by a talented photographer. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone seeking beauty, comfort, and soulful hospitality. I’ll definitely be back the next time I visit Hangzhou.
I’ve been to Hangzhou every year, and this time I decided to stay at a tea plantation in Longjing Village. After comparing several options on the platform, I chose Landison Longjing Resort for its perfect balance of location, service, and value. Nestled right in the heart of the tea fields, the resort offers breathtaking views of endless green tea gardens. Along the winding roads, you’ll see local farmers harvesting and processing tea—so authentic and peaceful. The staff were exceptional from start to finish. Front desk agent Xiao Chen was incredibly attentive—when we asked for a better view room, he personally escorted us upstairs to pick one, even upgraded us without hesitation. When we preferred staying in, he brought extra bottled water for brewing tea. The rooms are spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows framing stunning mountain views. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Even the complimentary Longjing tea in the room was fresh and fragrant. Breakfast was simple but delicious—the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the noodles were so good I ended up eating three portions! I requested a late checkout, and when I left, Xiao Chen again went out of his way—bringing water, helping load luggage, and even waiving the fee for a broken glass. That kind of thoughtfulness truly made my stay unforgettable. Yes, some facilities show signs of age, but considering the serene setting, top-tier service, and great value, this resort is absolutely worth it. If I ever return to Hangzhou for a tea-focused getaway, I’d choose this place again without hesitation.
Staying at ANYU Hotel - Hangzhou West Lake was hands down the best decision I made for my long weekend in Hangzhou. I’d seen it featured in a magazine before, and while I had high expectations from the photos, the actual experience exceeded them—there’s something truly magical about how the space feels even better in person. The dark wood tones are so grounded and warm, and the paper sliding doors bathed in afternoon light make you feel like you’ve stepped into a quiet Kyoto ryokan—or maybe a Tang or Song dynasty retreat. Every corner is photogenic, but honestly, I just wanted to stay put in my room, wrapped in that natural, soft warmth of solid wood. The breakfast was exceptional—probably the most balanced and abundant spread I’ve had all year. Was it just me, or does everyone in Hangzhou start their day with abalone rice? Feels like royalty dining here! And the afternoon tea service? Absolutely delightful. Our host even reminded us we hadn’t used our voucher—offering a seamless upgrade to a 'wines & quiet moments' experience. The selection of wines matched exactly what I’d expect from a French café back home. This stay wasn’t just comfortable—it felt restorative. I left feeling recharged, inspired, and already planning my next visit. If you’re ever in Hangzhou, don’t miss this gem.
My stay at Vallie Hotel in Hangzhou exceeded all my expectations. Despite being centrally located, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat—perfectly balanced between city convenience and quiet relaxation. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean, with modern amenities that made everything feel luxurious yet comfortable. The dining experience was outstanding—the food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and served with care. What truly stood out was the personalized service from the concierge team; they were attentive without being intrusive, always ready to help but never overstepping. It’s clear the staff genuinely cares about guest comfort. I left feeling pampered and already planning my next visit. This is definitely a hotel I’ll return to and recommend to friends and family.
Staying at Seven Villas Hangzhou for the second time was just as magical as the first. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, professional, and genuinely attentive service—every interaction felt personal and thoughtful. The room was immaculate, quiet, and beautifully appointed with all the amenities you’d want for a peaceful retreat. I extended my stay this time to fully explore the on-site dining, and wow—every restaurant exceeded expectations. From Xie Xiang Lou to Man Shu and San Yan Ge, each dish looked like a work of art, so visually stunning that even someone who rarely takes photos found themselves snapping shots. But it’s not just about looks—the taste was equally exceptional: only the finest ingredients were used, and every bite delivered an unforgettable flavor experience. The upgraded afternoon tea at San Yan Ge was particularly delightful, with elegant pastries and perfectly paired teas. And let’s not forget the Xiao Qing Spa—pure bliss from start to finish. If you’re looking for a serene, luxurious escape with world-class food, service, and ambiance, this is the place. A truly unforgettable stay.
Staying at Manshexi Garden was an absolute delight! The room was spotlessly clean, with every detail meticulously maintained—right from the front desk to the serene garden areas. The atmosphere is so peaceful and beautifully designed, like stepping into a traditional Chinese landscape painting. Afternoon tea was a real highlight—elegant presentation and delicious flavors, perfect for Instagram-worthy moments. I especially loved the Hanfu photo experience; I changed into a traditional outfit and took countless stunning pictures. The staff were exceptional—especially Xiao Jie and Weiwei, who went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. They made me feel right at home. This place truly offers a unique blend of comfort, culture, and charm. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hangzhou.
I always stay here when visiting Hangzhou, and it never disappoints. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Longjing Village and Maokou, with serene views of nature right outside the door. Unlike the crowded areas around West Lake, this place feels peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding. The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive—any issue I had was addressed immediately. Though it’s a classic hotel with a slightly vintage feel, the rooms remain elegant, clean, and well-equipped. I loved having both a large bathtub and a separate shower, plus a private balcony to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Staying here for several days allowed me to fully soak in the beauty of autumn in Hangzhou. Absolutely ideal.
Nestled right beside the serene Jiuxi Scenic Area, this hidden gem feels like stepping into a tranquil painting. As soon as you step outside, the sound of flowing water greets you—crisp, clear, and soothing. The maple trees lining the creek create a stunning autumn scene, making it one of the best spots for photography without needing to go far. The location is perfect: peaceful yet accessible, with a beautiful blend of traditional Jiangnan garden aesthetics and modern minimalist design. Every window frames a lush green view, truly bringing nature into your stay. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotless. Breakfast options were modest but fresh and satisfying. Staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to help. It’s rare to find such a quiet, authentic retreat so close to nature—perfect for unwinding and recharging. A standout experience, definitely worth returning.
I've stayed at countless hotels, but this one truly stood out. The front desk staff went above and beyond—friendly, genuine, and attentive from the moment I arrived. They upgraded my room for free, helped with luggage, even offered tea and a spare umbrella when it started raining. Their warmth wasn't forced; it felt natural and heartfelt. The breakfast was beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. The hotel itself is quiet and well-maintained, with a peaceful vibe that makes it perfect for unwinding. Plus, there are several great dining options nearby, and it's just a short walk to public transit if you want to explore the city. Honestly, the service here made me feel like a guest, not just a customer. If you're looking for a relaxing, authentic stay in Hangzhou with incredible hospitality, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back.
This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.
