Staying at Lagoon Beach Hotel Apartments was a delightful surprise. The sea view from the room is absolutely stunning—every morning I woke up to the sound of waves and endless blue sky, truly unbeatable. The room itself is well-maintained, though the mattress might feel a bit soft for heavier guests. A few outlets in our unit weren’t working, but the staff responded quickly and arranged a room swap with no hassle—really impressed by their hospitality. One thing to note: they don’t provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, or disposable slippers, so it’s best to bring your own essentials. Breakfast has improved this year—still not quite catering to my Chinese palate, but at least there’s more variety than last year. Overall, the location is fantastic, close to the beach and just a short ride into Cape Town city center. With its unbeatable views and great value, I’d definitely recommend this place and plan to return soon.
Staying at Woodbridge Lodge in Cape Town was an absolute delight. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, especially the poached eggs served with hollandaise sauce. It’s rare to find such attention to detail in a B&B. The bed was so comfortable that I slept like a baby and woke up feeling completely refreshed. Everything about this place felt warm, welcoming, and well-maintained. If you’re visiting Cape Town and want a cozy, authentic stay with great hospitality, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!
