Jianguo Hotel

This was my first trip to Xi'an, and I booked Jianguo Hotel via the platform. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised—the hotel’s design is almost a perfect replica of the Beijing branch, which instantly made me feel at home. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and upgraded my room without hesitation—such a thoughtful touch! The room itself was spotless, with clean windows and fresh linens. While the bedding was standard, it was comfortable and well-maintained. One standout feature was the smart toilet—so convenient and modern. For under $300, this stay was way beyond expectations. As part of the Shoulu Group family, the brand reputation is solid and trustworthy. If I ever come back to Xi'an, I’ll definitely book here again. Highly recommended!

Xi'an Xinxing Hotel

I went in with modest expectations after reading some mixed reviews, but honestly, my stay at Xi'an Xinxing Hotel completely exceeded them. Formerly part of a well-known international chain, the hotel maintains the same high standard in quality and cleanliness—yet the price is refreshingly affordable for a five-star experience. I was especially impressed by how thoughtful and responsive the staff were. When I called to confirm parking and request a late checkout, the front desk agent wasn’t sure about the policy, but immediately connected me with someone who provided clear, detailed answers. Even better, they allowed me to keep my car parked after check-out, which made a big difference when I returned from sightseeing later that day. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with nice amenities: soft towels, quality toiletries including Shu Ke mini toothpaste, good shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even a moisturizer—something you don’t always get at this price point. There’s also a 24-hour restaurant right across the street offering delicious, hygienic noodles—perfect for late-night cravings. While the TV might be slightly outdated, it’s not a dealbreaker, especially considering the overall value. Public transport access is excellent—just steps away from metro and bus stops, making it super easy to explore the city. If you’re looking for a reliable, no-frills, yet genuinely comfortable stay in Xi’an, this place delivers. Don’t let a few negative comments cloud your judgment—this hotel deserves more credit than it gets.
