Staying at JR Sapporo Nikko Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The service was exceptional—staff went above and beyond, even carrying my luggage up to the room and neatly placing it on the shelf for easy access. I was especially impressed by the spa, which is exclusively available to guests in the morning, so it’s never crowded and feels truly relaxing. I spent a peaceful moment lounging in a quiet corner, enjoying soft music and a refreshing ice cream—perfect way to unwind after a long journey. Breakfast was a highlight too: I tried both the Japanese-style and buffet options, but the Japanese meal stood out with its fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. Located just steps from the subway, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Sapporo. This hotel offers an unbeatable mix of comfort, service, and value—I’ll definitely be returning.
This has easily been the best hotel experience I've had in Japan—comfortable, convenient, and incredible value for money. I've stayed in many Japanese hotels over the years, but this one stands out as the top choice. The room with a queen bed is slightly compact, but the mattress is a generous 1.6 meters wide—something you won’t find in many other hotels across Sapporo. That said, I’d strongly recommend going for the twin-bed option; it’s much more spacious and perfect for couples or travelers who prefer extra room. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk from Sapporo Station, right in the heart of the city. Everything you need is within easy reach: shopping, dining, public transit, and even a convenience store just steps away. Plus, they offer luggage storage, and the bath amenities are high-quality DHC products—such a nice touch. From start to finish, the whole stay felt seamless, comfortable, and truly worth every penny.
Staying at MYSTAYS Sapporo Station North Exit was such a great experience—especially the location. It’s incredibly convenient; just step out of JR Sapporo Station from the north side (west entrance), and the hotel is literally just a short walk away. Perfect for travelers with luggage, as it’s very straightforward to reach without any hassle. I also appreciated the complimentary self-service skincare products available in the room—DHC brand, which is always a plus since you can use them freely without worrying about waste. The north exit east side is currently under renovation, but if you’re traveling light and don’t mind a few steps, the underground passage offers a quick, sheltered route that cuts down exposure to chilly air by a couple of minutes. Even better: I arrived on a snowy day, and the city looked absolutely magical with fresh snowfall—everything felt cozy and scenic. This hotel truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm all in one. Definitely planning to come back.
Staying here for two nights was a great experience overall. The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a 2-minute walk from the north exit of Sapporo JR Station, right at the traffic light intersection. No confusion with directions. The lobby is on the second floor via the elevator, making access smooth and straightforward. The room was clean, well-maintained, and offered enough space for comfort. Free coffee and toiletries are available at the lobby area—super handy and thoughtful. Breakfast is served on the basement level (B1), and it's nice to see variety over two days—different options each morning, so it never gets boring. If you skip the breakfast package, there’s a nearby café just steps away. One of their breakfast sets (a coffee and toast combo) costs around 600 yen, and it’s a solid value. Food quality is good, and it’s a great alternative. All in all, this hotel offers excellent location, reliable service, and a comfortable stay. I’d definitely come back if I visit Sapporo again.
Located in a super convenient spot, the hotel is just steps away from cafes, a supermarket, and a convenience store—perfect for grabbing essentials or a quick coffee. The front desk is on the second floor, and the staff were incredibly accommodating when I decided to extend my stay at the last minute. I was able to check out and immediately check back in without any hassle—such a thoughtful touch! The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and well-maintained. Everything about this stay felt clean, welcoming, and well-organized. With its great location and excellent service, this hotel offers outstanding value. I’d definitely recommend it and will be returning.
Staying at JR Inn Sapporo was an absolute breeze—right next to Sapporo Station with a direct, step-free walk from the entrance. No need to lug your bags through stairs or long corridors, which made everything so much easier. The hotel is perfectly located near convenience stores and a large shopping mall, making it super convenient for grabbing snacks or last-minute essentials. The room itself is compact but well-designed—comfortable for sleeping and easily fits a suitcase. I appreciated that you can choose from different pillow types at the lobby, which made a big difference in comfort. Breakfast options were limited—mainly yogurt and bread—but they were fresh and sufficient for a quick morning meal. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always smiling and ready to help. From check-in to checkout, the service felt warm and personal. This place truly delivers on convenience and comfort, and I’d definitely stay here again.
The room at Toyoko Inn Hokkaido Sapporo-Eki Nishi-Guchi Hokudai Mae was spacious and incredibly comfortable. I was really impressed by the clean, well-maintained space and the thoughtful touches throughout—everything felt fresh and welcoming. Located just steps from the subway station, it’s super convenient for getting around Sapporo, especially if you’re visiting the university or downtown area. The bed was cozy, making for a restful night’s sleep, and there was plenty of room to unpack and relax. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall value for money is outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again.
The location is unbeatable—right outside the station, just a quick walk to get here. The staff at the lobby were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. While the main building’s rooms aren’t brand new, they’re spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable. The bed was cozy, the space felt thoughtfully laid out, and everything worked perfectly for a stress-free stay. I’m already planning my next trip to Sapporo just so I can come back here. A fantastic choice for travelers who value convenience and cleanliness.
Despite its age, this hotel offers surprisingly thoughtful amenities for the price. The room came with a kettle, microwave, and even a high-quality True Sleeper mattress—definitely one of the best sleeps I've had on my trip. There's complimentary coffee available in the lobby, which is a nice touch. While breakfast is currently not offered, the location is perfect for those needing to visit Sapporo University Hospital just across the street—super convenient for medical appointments. The staff are friendly, and it's easy to get around town via subway. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're looking for comfort, practicality, and great value without the frills.
Staying at Tabist Hokkaido Daiichi Hotel Sapporo was an excellent experience overall. The location is convenient, though you’ll need to transfer to the Sapporo subway after arriving on the JR line—just a short ride, so no hassle at all. There’s a 7-Eleven right outside the hotel entrance, open late, perfect for grabbing snacks or drinks anytime. A great tip: there’s a bus stop for the airport shuttle just a short walk from the hotel, near a local ramen shop—note that it’s not the one directly in front of the hotel. Ask the staff to mark it on your map; the one-way fare is only 1,300 yen and can be paid with either cash or transit card. Super convenient for travelers coming straight from the airport. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
Staying at Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo for three nights was an absolute pleasure. The location is unbeatable—right across the street from Hokkaido University and just a short walk to the train station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. I booked a standard twin room, which offered just the right amount of space with clean, modern furnishings. The breakfast buffet was impressive—fresh, diverse, and full of local flavors I really enjoyed. In the afternoon, complimentary tea and coffee were available, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The on-site bathhouse stood out: spacious, well-maintained, with both hot springs and shower areas that felt luxurious. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. If I’m ever back in Sapporo, this will be my top choice again.
Staying at Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo was an absolute highlight of my trip to Sapporo. The hotel’s location is unbeatable—right next to the train station and literally across from the famous Rokkatei flagship store, making it super convenient for shopping and getting around. There are also a convenience store and a Starbucks just steps away, so everything I needed was within walking distance. What really stood out was the onsen open until 9 a.m., which allowed me to enjoy a relaxing morning soak—perfect way to start the day. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and even had complimentary bottled water delivered daily. I worked remotely from the room throughout the day, and the Wi-Fi connection was consistently strong and reliable. Overall, this stay exceeded all expectations. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next visit to Sapporo.
