Hanso Presidential Suite Hanok Hotel

The room was spacious and immaculately clean, with authentic hanok architecture that truly captured the charm of traditional Korean design. Location is unbeatable—just a short subway ride from major attractions like Myeongdong and Namdaemun Market. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful yet luxurious. It's rare to find such a perfect balance of comfort, culture, and convenience at this price point. I’ll definitely book here again on my next trip to Seoul—highly recommend!

Kobos Hotel

Absolutely exceeded my expectations! I went in with low expectations since the room photos made it look quite small, but upon check-in, the front desk surprised me with a complimentary upgrade—what a lucky break! The room was spacious enough that two 28-inch suitcases could be laid flat on the floor without any crowding. While some amenities do show their age—especially an old leather chair with peeling upholstery, which would’ve looked better if replaced with a wooden one—the overall cleanliness was impressive. It’s clear the housekeeping team takes pride in maintaining the space. Location-wise, it’s incredibly secure and central—right next to the National Assembly, with police cars often parked nearby for reassurance. Within walking distance are convenience stores, cozy cafes, and great Korean BBQ spots. Plus, the airport bus route 6007 starts and ends just steps away, and you’re literally a stone’s throw from the National Assembly Station on Line 9. Getting to places like Yeouido Mall, Hongdae, or Mapo is super easy—ideal for travelers who value both convenience and accessibility.

The location is incredibly convenient—just a 2-minute walk to a 7-Eleven, 8 minutes to a 24-hour café, 10 minutes to the subway (Green Line), 15 minutes to Hongdae, and just 20 minutes to Sinchon on foot. The room itself is compact but well-designed with excellent water pressure and smooth drainage. The bathtub was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Towels, tissues, and bottled water are available for free at the lounge—great for refills. The lounge area is huge and packed with amenities: self-service washing machines, dryers, even a dry cleaner! Every seating area has plenty of power outlets—so thoughtful. There’s also a large gym perfect for fitness lovers, and two spacious kitchens where you can cook or heat up meals. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke fluent English, making check-in and any requests super easy. This place offers such great value and comfort—it truly exceeded expectations. Let's Stay Hostel

I finally got around to writing this review after returning from Seoul—my first visit to the city, and I’m so glad I stayed at Let’s Stay Hostel! The price was super reasonable for what you get, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is fantastic—right next to a convenience store, just a short walk to the subway station, and surrounded by great local eateries. I ended up going back to one of the nearby BBQ restaurants twice because it was that good—authentic flavor and generous portions. The dorm room was for two people: not huge, but perfectly sized and cozy. We were responsible for changing our own towels and taking out the trash, which might sound like a small thing, but it actually added to the homely, self-sufficient vibe. It felt more personal than staying in a big hotel. Overall, this place offered comfort, convenience, and charm at a great value. If I ever come back to Seoul, this will definitely be my go-to choice. Highly recommended!

Neat House

The location was excellent—super convenient for getting around Seoul, and I appreciated how close it was to public transit. However, the shower water didn’t warm up properly during winter, so I had to endure chilly showers every day. It was a bit uncomfortable, especially in the morning. That said, the room was clean, well-maintained, and the overall value was great. The staff were friendly, and the place felt safe and cozy. Despite the heating issue, I’d still recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a quiet, tidy stay in a central spot.

Staying right across from Hongdae Station makes transportation incredibly convenient—trains, buses, and taxis are all just steps away. I booked last minute and was worried about check-in delays, but the staff was incredibly helpful and sent over my check-in details within minutes. The room was spotless and spacious enough for four of us to stay comfortably without feeling cramped. It’s clear they prioritize cleanliness and guest experience. I’d absolutely recommend this hostel for any group visit to Hongdae—it’s affordable, well-located, and delivers a great value. Definitely coming back if we’re planning another trip to the area!

Special thanks to Catherine for thoughtfully arranging my takeout breakfast and a sweet treat—such a thoughtful touch before heading out for the day. I was truly impressed by Irene, who professionally helped me recover my forgotten Moncler vest with ease. The room cleaning and amenities were top-notch—always fresh, well-stocked, and meticulously maintained. Every detail reflects genuine care and attention. This experience exceeded all expectations. If you're visiting Seoul, this is definitely my top recommendation. I’ll be back, and I’m already telling friends about it!

Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul

Staying at Swiss Grand Hotel Seoul was a delightful surprise, especially for travelers who appreciate a touch of Western elegance in a vibrant city setting. While the hotel’s hillside location is definitely unique—coming straight from the airport shuttle made me and my mom gasp at the steep, long climb up the slope with our luggage (we stopped several times, it felt like a real workout!)—the effort is worth it once you’re inside. The peaceful, quiet atmosphere away from the downtown bustle is refreshing. Staff are all fluent in English, incredibly helpful, and genuinely warm—especially the front desk attendant who quickly arranged a taxi for us on departure. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, the service attentive, and overall the experience feels premium without being overly expensive. If you're willing to walk a bit uphill (or take a quick ride), this hotel offers a standout blend of comfort, convenience, and charm in Seoul.

Kensington Hotel Yeouido

Staying at Kensington Hotel Yeouido was a perfect choice for my trip to Seoul, especially since I was attending a concert at Gocheok Dome. The hotel offers a direct shuttle from the airport, and public transportation—including subway stations and bus stops—is just steps away, making travel incredibly convenient. The nearby Hyundai Department Store, along with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores, made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. Best of all, the hotel overlooks the Han River—waking up to that view and taking a morning jog in the adjacent park was one of the highlights. Though some facilities feel a bit dated, the overall experience was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and offered complimentary luggage storage, which came in handy. Room service was attentive and thoughtful. Despite minor wear, the location, comfort, and hospitality make this hotel a great value—definitely a place I’d return to.
