XIANGHU XIAOYAO MANOR

This estate is absolutely massive—beyond the main building, it spreads across an entire hillside with a beautifully arranged cluster of villas (Xiangyuan) nestled among the trees. Just strolling in the sunshine felt like a mini escape from reality. The staff were proactive even before check-in, reaching out to ask about our preferences, and continued checking in throughout our stay—very attentive without being intrusive. From front desk to concierge, everyone responded quickly and warmly. We tried the yakitori dinner at Yiba and breakfast, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. Despite the surprisingly long corridors in the guest rooms—some of us joked we’d need a map to find our way back—the overall experience was outstanding. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a peaceful retreat that made our weekend truly memorable.

Located right in the heart of Binjiang District, it's incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers—just a short walk to shopping centers and public transit options. The buffet breakfast was impressive: wide variety, fresh ingredients, and well-prepared dishes from both local and international cuisines. Staff were friendly and attentive, making every interaction pleasant. The only minor issue was inconsistent hot and cold water pressure, possibly due to the building’s height, but it didn’t significantly impact the stay. All in all, this is a top-tier hotel with excellent value, and I’d definitely return.

The rooftop infinity pool might not be swimmable in winter, but it’s perfect for stunning photos, especially during sunset when the light paints the sky in golden hues. The lounge area is beautifully designed—one side opens to the pool, while the other leads down to a charming garden connected to the ground-floor restaurant. The staircase layout has a playful, almost Squid Game-inspired vibe, making it ideal for Instagram-worthy shots. And let’s not forget the adorable pink inflatable bunny guarding the entrance—cute and photogenic! The lobby is compact but welcoming, with cozy seating and a small coffee bar nearby. The staff, especially front desk agent Xiao Xue, went above and beyond with warm, attentive service. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Overall, an unforgettable stay with exceptional value—definitely planning to return.

And Jack from the Chinese restaurant went above and beyond with his warm hospitality. Everything felt personal, not just transactional. Whether it was check-in or last-minute advice before checkout, their professionalism and genuine hospitality made all the difference. Dining here was another highlight. Parking was a breeze thanks to the spacious underground garage with two levels. The room itself was stylish, bright, and generously sized, with top-notch amenities and high-quality ELEMIS bath products. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety, fresh ingredients, and great flavors. Everything about this stay felt polished and well thought out. I’ll definitely be back.

When I noticed a slight odor in my first room, they immediately accommodated me with a quick room change—no hassle at all. The new room was spotless, modern, and had an amazing mattress that’s perfect for deep sleep. As someone who often struggles with insomnia, I actually slept through the night without waking up—something I haven’t done in ages! The breakfast was outstanding too—especially the little wontons, which were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely worth trying. Overall, this stay was exceptional in every way: great location, top-notch service, clean rooms, and a real comfort vibe. Highly recommend—it’s definitely a place I’ll return to.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Room quality was top-notch: clean, well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and great lighting. Breakfast was a standout—varied, delicious, and well-balanced between Western and Chinese options. Fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and more made for a perfect start to the day. One small suggestion: the towels could use a refresh—they look a bit worn from extended use. But overall, this place offers fantastic value, comfort, and attention to detail. I always stay here whenever I'm in Hangzhou for business trips—it's become my go-to choice. The design has a unique artistic flair with thoughtful details that make the space feel both modern and inviting. Cleanliness is excellent: the room was spotless, the bathroom fresh, and everything felt well-maintained. Breakfast is plentiful and consistently high-quality—no disappointment there. Among the several hotels in the Binjiang area, Atour stands out as the most comfortable and welcoming. The only thing I’d love to see improved is price stability; while the current rate offers great value, it would be nice if it stayed consistent. Also, a big shoutout to Kangxi—the staff member who went above and beyond with warm, genuine service. Their hospitality truly made the stay memorable.
