This was my second stay at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed this time around. Right across from the hotel is Bus 6001, which runs directly to the airport—perfect for early flights or late departures. The room was spotless, spacious, and had a wonderful bathtub that made for a relaxing soak after a long day of exploring. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, always offering help with a smile. Plus, it’s just a short walk to the subway station, making it easy to get around Seoul. Great location, excellent comfort, and top-notch service. This place really delivers on every front—definitely a go-to choice for any visit to Seoul.
Staying at Ramada by Wyndham Seoul Dongdaemun was a fantastic experience, especially given how central the location is. Just a 10-minute walk to the subway station makes getting around Seoul super easy. The neighborhood comes alive at night with tons of dining options nearby—great for food lovers like me. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, speaking excellent English. When I arrived from Europe without a power adapter, they immediately provided one and even printed out a local map to guide me toward the best areas for restaurants. Plus, the hotel lobby has a Wow Pass machine where you can deposit money or withdraw cash anytime—super convenient. Everything about this stay felt thoughtful and well-organized. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great service.
Staying at Friendly DH Naissance Hotel was an absolute delight! Located just steps from the Seongnyeonsuhak Station on University Road, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around Seoul. The neighborhood is vibrant and student-friendly, with countless cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores right outside the door—perfect for grabbing a quick bite or coffee anytime. The hotel itself is spotless, well-maintained, and offers excellent amenities. What really stood out? The bathroom features a built-in massage bathtub—a real luxury after a long day of exploring. It made my stay so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, this place delivers incredible value. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
I absolutely loved staying at Glue Hotel Dongdaemun! The staff were incredibly polite and attentive from check-in to check-out. The room was spotless and well-maintained—every detail felt thoughtfully designed. I stayed for a few nights, and they even replaced the towels, bed linens, and glasses each time, which made me feel really comfortable and cared for. There were plenty of power outlets, so charging my devices was never an issue. The in-room TV was a big plus—streaming YouTube and Netflix made my downtime super enjoyable. The bathroom was clean, modern, and well-kept. Best part? The location is unbeatable. I walked to Gwangjang Market in under 20 minutes, perfect for exploring local food and shopping. If I ever come back to Dongdaemun, this is definitely where I’ll stay again. Highly recommend for travelers who want comfort, convenience, and great value.
Hotel DM is an absolute gem in Seoul! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the subway and airport shuttle, making travel to and from the city a breeze. What really stood out was the front desk staff who spoke fluent Chinese—when I said "Hello," their surprised yet welcoming reaction made me feel instantly at home. We arrived around 2:00 PM, and since our room was already cleaned, they offered us a free early check-in without hesitation. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with three-prong outlets that worked perfectly with my Chinese plug—no need for a travel adapter at all. There's a fridge, modern bathroom fixtures, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. Located in a quiet residential area, the neighborhood is full of authentic local gems. The famous Dongsan Galbi (the same spot as G-Dragon’s favorite) is right downstairs—seriously delicious. And just steps away, there’s a GS25 convenience store for snacks and drinks. Everything you need is within walking distance. From comfort to convenience, this hotel delivers on every level. I’d definitely stay here again—truly one of the best stays I’ve had in Seoul.
Staying at this Dongdaemun branch was a fantastic experience. The hotel's proximity to the station made it incredibly convenient, especially with heavy luggage—no stress at all when arriving or departing. The room was spotless and well-equipped: I found a hair dryer, iron, hair gel, comb, and even a welcome drink—all thoughtful touches that added to the comfort. It felt like staying in a premium hotel without the premium price. I’d definitely book here again on my next trip to Seoul and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.
Staying at K-Grand Hostel Dongdaemun was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the subway station and super convenient for connecting to both airports. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious for a hostel. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with fresh options that gave us energy for the day. One highlight? The rooftop terrace—it’s peaceful, great for relaxing, and perfect for people-watching or enjoying a quiet morning coffee. Whether you're here for business or travel, this place offers excellent value and comfort. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
Staying at Dongdaemun Hotel was a great experience, especially thanks to the unbeatable location. Just steps from both Line 1 and Line 4 subway stations, getting around Seoul is super convenient—plus there are plenty of bus routes nearby, which I took more often than not. The hotel itself feels fresh and modern after recent renovations. One small downside: the bathtub has only about one-third glass enclosure, so water tends to splash out during use, which can be a bit messy. Also, the bathroom floor gets slippery easily when wet, so extra caution is needed. Water temperature in the shower fluctuates—sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold—so you’ll need to adjust frequently. On the bright side, there’s a power outlet right beside the bed, making charging devices super easy. Breakfast is simple but surprisingly generous: bread, cornflakes, milk, juice, instant noodles, and coffee—great variety for a basic spread. For airport transfers, I’d recommend taking the subway over the Airport Bus (Route 6002). The bus runs almost to its final stop and takes over an hour, followed by a 6–8 minute walk. The subway is faster and much more direct. Plus, the area is packed with restaurants, street food stalls, and fashion shopping spots—perfect for exploring on foot. Overall, excellent value and a very convenient base for any visit to Seoul.
Staying at JD Tower Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is incredibly convenient—right across from the airport bus stop, making travel to and from the airport a breeze. The front desk signage is clear and well-organized, which immediately sets a positive tone upon arrival. What truly stood out was the staff's professionalism and genuine care. When I was unsure how to use the laundry machines, a front desk attendant kindly approached me to explain step by step. They also helped me with transportation questions, offering thoughtful recommendations for getting around the city. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist made a big difference in my experience. The service exceeded expectations, and the value for money is outstanding. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to friends and will be returning myself.
While the hotel is a bit outside the city center, it offers significantly better value compared to other options in downtown Seoul. The nearby subway station makes getting around easy—just hop on the train to explore major attractions. Alternatively, using a local ride-hailing app (available for download) lets you book a car in advance or request one instantly, which was especially helpful for our family of six. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance offering all kinds of authentic Korean food—just take a stroll and you’ll find something delicious. The front desk staff speak English and are genuinely warm and attentive. We booked two rooms: one king bedroom and one twin room with a queen-sized bed and a single bed, perfect for three people. The room had a lovely balcony, ample space, clean interiors, and water temperature that was just right. I particularly loved the shampoo and conditioner—they left my hair incredibly soft and smooth. I’d love to know the brand! Breakfast was modest in variety but tasty overall. All in all, this stay was highly satisfying, and I’d definitely return.
Staying at Vista Walkerhill Seoul was an absolute highlight of my trip to Seoul. The room was spotless, bright, and spacious—right from the start, I headed up to the 4th-floor viewing deck, and wow, the night views of the Han River were breathtaking. The city lights shimmering across the water made for a truly unforgettable experience. Compared to other riverside rooms in Seoul, this place offers incredible value for money. It’s not just about the view—it’s also super convenient with great access via subway. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stunning river view without breaking the bank. Definitely planning to come back.
Staying at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul was an absolute delight. The location is unbeatable—right next to Cheonggyecheon Stream, with a peaceful walkway just steps from the hotel entrance. I easily reached Doota and Design Plaza on foot, making it perfect for shopping and exploring local creativity. The breakfast buffet was exceptional—huge variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious options from both Korean and international cuisines. I especially loved the made-to-order omelets and warm artisan bread. Staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my stay, always going the extra mile. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable—the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Everything you’d expect from a luxury hotel: top-notch amenities, smart TV, premium bedding, and excellent soundproofing. It’s clear this hotel cares about guest comfort and experience. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
