The staff were incredibly attentive: someone guided me to park, and others helped with luggage without being asked. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with great variety. Just steps away is Xincheng Square—perfect for a morning stroll among the friendly pigeons. In about 15 minutes on foot, you can reach Muslim Quarter (Beiyuanmen) and even walk straight to Bell Tower. There’s also a small museum inside the Sofitel Legend building that shares the rich history of the original Renmin Building, including photos of famous visitors over the years. Elevator access requires a key card, so privacy and security are top-notch. While the room isn’t brand new, all essential amenities were present and in good working order—no complaints there. It’s just a 10-15 minute walk to the Bell Tower, placing us right in the heart of the city’s main tourist area. The Dachashi Metro Station is only a few minutes away on foot, and there’s also a bus stop right outside—though the bus frequency could be better. Still, the location is unbeatable for exploring the Muslim Quarter and surrounding attractions. Great convenience, great vibe, and fantastic value.
