Being just steps from both Bell Tower and Yongningmen Metro Station made exploring Xi'an effortless—public transit is super reliable here, and taxis are always nearby. I appreciated how well-connected the hotel is, especially during busy holidays when traffic can be a nightmare elsewhere. Everything from amenities to location was top-notch. The rooms aren’t large and the furnishings aren’t brand new, but everything functions smoothly and efficiently—especially the power card system that ensures uninterrupted electricity 24/7, which I found incredibly convenient. Located just a short walk from Xiaozhai Metro Station, it’s perfectly positioned for exploring the area, with countless dining options nearby. The on-site Huaiyang cuisine restaurant serves dishes with a light, delicate flavor—perfect if you prefer subtle tastes. Quality toiletries are provided, and the heating system works wonders: the room stays cozy and warm throughout the stay. Bonus? You can check out as late as 2 PM, which gave me extra flexibility with my travel plans. Overall, despite its age, this hotel delivers excellent value and comfort—ideal for both business and leisure travelers.

Also, no one at the front desk asked if I was driving, which is something I’d expect from a higher-end hotel—proactively offering parking information or assistance would make the stay even more seamless. These are minor points, but with a perfect 10/10 rating, this hotel is already very close to excellence. Just a few thoughtful touches could make it truly outstanding.

But once I arrived, the comfort, service, and convenience made me want to stay longer. The hotel is perfectly positioned—just a short walk from metro lines and bus stops, making it incredibly easy to explore key attractions like the City Wall, Big Goose Pagoda, and ancient Daming Palace. The room view? Stunning—direct sightlines to the historic city wall and train station, which added a special charm to our stay. Special shoutout to Mr. Wei Xinglong from the concierge team—he went above and beyond helping with luggage and package collection, always cheerful and efficient. The front desk staff, Xiao Hao and Xiao Liu, were warm, professional, and attentive. When we mentioned the room felt a bit warm on our first night, they immediately upgraded us to a larger suite at no extra cost—a truly unexpected and thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more memorable. Housekeeping was spotless, and the room had excellent natural light, giving it a bright, inviting feel.
