This hotel is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly—greeted with genuine smiles that set a positive tone for the whole stay. The entire property is immaculately clean, and the room itself was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. What stood out most was their luggage storage service—perfect for checking in early and immediately heading into town without the hassle of dragging bags around. The location is ideal: close enough to explore downtown easily, whether on foot or by public transit. Everything about this boutique hotel feels authentic, warm, and well-cared for. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and a personal touch, this is a must-visit. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone traveling to Guanajuato.
Staying at Hotel Camino de Vinos was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room exceeded my expectations—just as beautiful as the photos, with a cozy and elegant vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night's sleep. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Even the in-room massage was a highlight, leaving me completely relaxed. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service—always ready to help without being intrusive. One of the best parts? Wandering through the peaceful vineyards and surrounding gardens. It’s such a serene escape from city life, perfect for unwinding and recharging. While personal internet access isn’t available, the hotel offers reliable Wi-Fi throughout most of the property, which made staying connected easy. Overall, this place is a hidden gem—calm, charming, and beautifully designed. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil, authentic getaway.
We didn’t stay at this hotel, but we did stop by for lunch with the family at their restaurant—definitely worth a visit! The rooms look incredibly comfortable, and the location is peaceful, right across from one of Guanajuato’s most serene and beautiful gardens. Just a 5-minute walk to La Presa La Olla makes it super convenient. The restaurant itself exceeded our expectations: friendly and attentive staff, delicious food, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Prices are fair compared to other local spots—no overcharging here. If you’re in town, even if you’re not staying overnight, make sure to drop by for a meal. It’s a quiet gem that truly makes your visit more memorable.
The hotel is excellent overall, with outstanding staff service that makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. That said, there's some noise at night—mainly from dogs in the neighborhood—which can be disruptive if you're sensitive to sound. The pool hours are also a bit short, closing at 8 PM, which feels limiting given it's a tourist destination. Most travelers would love to unwind by the pool after a long day of exploring, so extending the hours would be a great improvement. Still, everything else about the stay was top-notch: clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a great location. Despite minor drawbacks, this place offers fantastic value and is definitely worth considering for your next trip.
Staying at Hotel de la Paz in Guanajuato was an absolute delight, especially for the location. The hotel is perfectly situated just a short walk from the city center, making it super easy to explore the magical night views of this historic gem. As soon as you step out, the colorful buildings on the hillsides come alive under the soft glow of evening lights—like something out of a dream. The view from Monumento al Pípila is breathtaking, offering a panoramic glimpse of the entire city sparkling below. Teatro Juárez shines in the dark with its elegant neoclassical design, adding a touch of cultural charm. And then there’s Jardín de la Unión—the heart of the city—where the lively atmosphere, ambient music, and warm lights from nearby cafes create such a romantic vibe. If you're lucky enough to visit during the Festival Internacional del Globo, the whole town transforms into a dazzling display of light art and projections. Everything about this place feels vibrant yet authentic. The hotel itself is quiet, clean, and well-located—perfect for travelers who want comfort without sacrificing convenience. I’d highly recommend it for anyone visiting Guanajuato.
Staying at La Casona de Don Lucas was an absolute highlight of our trip to Guanajuato. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, just steps away from major attractions and vibrant nightlife—perfect for exploring on foot. That said, if you're sensitive to noise, be aware that the area can get lively in the evenings. Our duplex room was a real gem: the ground floor had a spacious 1.8-meter bed with three pillows—great for three guests—while the upper level featured a dining table and two 1.3-meter beds, each with two pillows, comfortably sleeping up to four more people. With a total capacity of seven, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends, but not the best value if you’re traveling solo or as a couple. The private balcony was a standout feature—perfect for unwinding with a drink while enjoying the city views at night. Breakfast was fresh, varied, and delicious, offering a great start to the day. Overall, this place combines charm, convenience, and excellent space—highly recommended for travelers looking for a central yet cozy base in Guanajuato.
Staying at Casa Santa Fe in Guanajuato was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, personalized service—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, especially the breathtaking mountain views from our room. Waking up to sunlight spilling over the hills was pure magic. The location is perfect: just a short walk or quick transit ride into the heart of town, with plenty of great local restaurants nearby. It’s rare to find such charm, comfort, and value all in one place. I’d highly recommend this hidden gem to any traveler exploring Guanajuato—it’s not just a hotel, it’s a memorable experience.
This place is absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how perfectly located it is—just a short walk from downtown Guanajuato, with restaurants, shops, and local charm right at our doorstep. The real highlight? The balcony view. Every morning, I woke up to breathtaking panoramic views of the city nestled in the hills, with golden sunrises painting the sky. It felt like waking up in a postcard. No need to go far for great scenery—this hotel delivers on every level. A must-stay for anyone visiting Guanajuato. Truly unforgettable.
Staying at Casa Lupita Hostel in Guanajuato was an absolutely delightful experience. The hostel is clean, welcoming, and full of charm—feels like home from the moment you walk in. One of the highlights? The fully equipped kitchen, which made it super easy to prepare our own meals—great for budget travelers or anyone who loves cooking. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; the front desk guy stood out with his professionalism and genuine care—he even gave us great tips on local spots to explore. Location-wise, it’s just a short walk from the metro and central attractions, making everything super accessible. With such a warm atmosphere, top-notch facilities, and a perfect balance of comfort and affordability, this place deserves every single star. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to any traveler visiting Guanajuato.
Staying at Casa Las Alamedas Guanajuato was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—right in the heart of town, making it super easy to explore everything on foot. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with free Wi-Fi, Netflix for entertainment, a laundry machine, and even a hairdryer—everything you'd want for a comfortable stay. What really stood out was the owner's incredible hospitality. He was attentive and friendly throughout our visit, always ready to help or share local tips. It felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel. Honestly, this place exceeded all my expectations. If you're visiting Guanajuato, this is definitely a top choice.
Staying at Villa Maria Cristina Hotel was an absolute delight from the moment we arrived. The property is breathtakingly beautiful, with elegant architecture and a refined aesthetic that exudes charm and character. Every detail reflects thoughtfulness—cleanliness, ambiance, and attention to service are all top-notch. It’s wonderfully quiet, making it the perfect retreat after exploring Guanajuato’s lively streets. The dining experience stood out too—the meals were delicious, beautifully presented, and made with high-quality ingredients. We only stayed one night, but it felt like a luxurious escape we never wanted to leave. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Guanajuato.
This has easily been the best hotel I've stayed at outside of beach destinations. Nueve 25 Hotel Boutique is small and intimate, with just a few rooms—each one incredibly clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The high ceilings give a real sense of openness, and the soundproofing is excellent; you won’t hear any noise from the hallway or other guests. Every room comes well-equipped with air conditioning, a wall-mounted TV, a cozy sofa, a coffee table, a vanity mirror, and a hairdryer—everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location can’t be beat: right in the heart of Guanajuato’s historic center, all major attractions are within a 10-minute walk, and there’s no shortage of great restaurants and street food nearby. The rooftop area is a real highlight—perfect for relaxing with drinks or ordering snacks while enjoying views of the city. Staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help. The only downside? Parking. The hotel mentions having its own private lot, but it’s not clearly marked or easy to access from the main entrance. We ended up using a nearby public parking garage, which costs around 250 MXN per day—fairly pricey, but manageable. Despite that, the overall experience was outstanding. Great value, exceptional ambiance, and a truly memorable stay. Definitely planning to return.
