The value for money is outstanding, and the location couldn’t be better—right next to Tuanjieqiao Metro Station on Line 4, making travel from the train station a breeze. This time, I drove myself and appreciated the complimentary parking, which made the whole experience even more convenient. The hotel’s new dining area offers a much richer breakfast selection than before, and you get great quality without breaking the bank. My wife used to only stay at five-star hotels, but after retirement, we started budgeting carefully—and during one of our stays here, we were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and well-appointed the standard room felt. It easily matched the comfort of many four-star properties we’ve stayed at. Since then, this has been our consistent choice whenever visiting Suzhou. Nearby, there’s a self-service restaurant with clean, fresh food and rotating daily menus—plus, meals are half-price after 7 PM, which is a fantastic deal. From check-in onward, the staff went above and beyond. When we requested two rooms, they kindly arranged adjacent ones for easier supervision. Throughout breakfast and dinner buffet service, the team showed exceptional care. During dinner, a young, friendly server noticed our situation and proactively brought a cushion so my parent could elevate their injured arm—something that actually helped with swelling. He even explained the medical reasoning behind it! That level of thoughtfulness and knowledge stood out. Every interaction felt personal, warm, and professional. We’ve already taken photos of several team members’ name tags—we’d love to see them recognized by the hotel. Definitely coming back again!

Breakfast was a highlight too, with a diverse menu including sesame dumplings, Ao Zao noodles, egg rolls, Benedict eggs, sweet pea and pomelo cheese salad, and the yellow peach milk banana pancake—each dish was flavorful and satisfying.
