The grand lobby immediately impressed me—soaring ceilings adorned with festive holiday decor created an instant magical vibe. To my delight, I was upgraded to a deluxe suite on New Year’s Day, which felt like a dream gift. Special thanks to the front desk team, especially Xiao Lu, for such a thoughtful touch. Stepping into the room, my partner couldn’t stop saying ‘wow’—the panoramic view of Jinji Lake flooded the space with natural light, while the warm interior made it feel cozy and luxurious. The pool is perfect for both adults and kids, with great facilities and a relaxing atmosphere. And the private walkway? A photographer’s paradise—endless opportunities for stunning shots. From start to finish, every detail felt exceptional. This wasn’t just a stay—it was an unforgettable experience. Definitely coming back.

LOHAS Boutique Hotel

Staying at Jin Hai Hua LOHAS Huayu Dongfang Hotel was an absolute delight! The room came with a wine opener and crystal glasses—such a thoughtful touch that made the experience feel extra special. The entire property has a subtle, pleasant fragrance throughout, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. The view from the window is breathtaking, offering a perfect blend of nature and cityscape. I was upgraded to a higher room for free, which was a lovely surprise. Even better? There was a tiny dog living in the adjacent room—adorable and so full of personality! The only minor hiccup was with the screen mirroring feature; it wasn’t clear which room the signal was coming from, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the overall amazing stay. This hotel offers incredible value and charm—definitely one of my top picks in Suzhou!

Pan Pacific Suzhou

We stayed at Pan Pacific Suzhou with our parents for a short getaway, and the family room brought back such a nostalgic feeling—almost like reliving my childhood. The extra single bed in the outer room was super comfortable, and waking up to the view of the Pingmen Garden outside the window was absolutely peaceful. Our host, Xiao Gu, was incredibly attentive—she sent over all the details ahead of time and remained available for any small questions, which made everything so stress-free. The on-site café, noodle bar, and dining options were convenient and well-executed. Only one minor note: the bottled water quality could be improved, especially if you’re into brewing tea. But overall, the serene Chinese garden setting is perfect for unwinding. Walking through the courtyard, enjoying the quiet ambiance, and just being present—it’s exactly what a relaxing city escape should feel like. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for comfort, charm, and a touch of tranquility.
