Grand Hotel Europe

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the heart of Saint Petersburg, making it incredibly easy to explore the city on foot or by metro. The building itself feels like a former noble estate, with grand architecture and timeless elegance that immediately sets the tone upon arrival. What truly stood out was the attention to detail—the flower arrangements at the entrance were fresh and beautifully changed during my stay, even though I noticed them earlier in the morning. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in maintaining a warm, personalized touch throughout. Rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and the service is genuinely courteous and efficient. For such a luxurious experience at this level, the value is outstanding. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next visit to St. Petersburg.

Nevsky Forum Apartments

I discovered this apartment hotel about a year ago, and when it came time to return, I didn’t even hesitate—I just booked it again. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment I arrived, offering champagne upon check-in and leaving thoughtful little gifts. The location is perfect—just a short walk from major attractions and well-connected by public transit. Daily cleaning and fresh towel changes kept everything spotless throughout my stay. Inside the apartment, every detail was considered: from a simple can opener to a full-sized dishwasher. It felt like home, with all the comforts of a kitchen and living space. Bristol Hotel

Staying at Bristol Hotel in Saint Petersburg was a great experience. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the metro and close to major attractions. The room itself is a bit dated, but it’s well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. What stands out is the convenience: walking to the right, you’ll find a cozy Chinese restaurant just steps away—perfect for dinner without needing to go far. To the left, there’s not much else nearby, but honestly, that didn’t bother us at all since we were mainly here for sightseeing and exploring. The overall value is fantastic, and I’d definitely stay here again if I return to St. Petersburg.

Arkada Hotel

Absolutely loved this charming little hotel! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center and super easy to get around by public transit. It’s incredibly quiet, giving off that cozy, homey vibe you don’t often find in busy cities. The room was immaculately clean, with excellent soundproofing so no noise from outside disturbed our rest. The beds were surprisingly comfortable—firm yet supportive, which is a rare find these days. Complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water were a nice touch, and they even let us borrow an umbrella if we forgot ours—such a thoughtful little perk. We opted for breakfast on-site, and it was fresh, tasty, and satisfying without being too heavy. Overall, the service was warm and attentive, and every detail felt carefully thought out. This place offers great value and genuine hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again—and recommend it to anyone visiting St. Petersburg.

Polikoff Hotel

The location is decent, but that’s pretty much where the positives end. I booked a Deluxe room, and the photos didn’t match reality at all. Getting into the hotel was already a hassle—no mention of remote check-in during booking. I ended up waiting outside the door, calling support, and received a three-page instruction guide with a registration link that didn’t work. With time ticking and needing to use the restroom, I waited nearly an hour just to get inside the property—but not my room! After another call to support, I finally got access to my room. The space was smaller than advertised, there were holes in the doors, and no TV remote was even provided. Overall, the experience was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

3 Gnoma Hotel

Staying at 3 Gnoma Hotel in Saint Petersburg was an absolute delight. The room was exceptionally well-designed, with a tasteful and modern aesthetic that felt both cozy and sophisticated. Everything was spotlessly clean—no detail was overlooked, from the linens to the bathroom fixtures. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and I woke up feeling refreshed and energized. Located just a short metro ride from the city center, it's perfectly positioned for exploring top attractions and dining spots. The overall value for money is outstanding. If I ever return to Saint Petersburg, this will be my first choice again. Highly recommended!

Park Avenue Hotel

I stayed here in July 2024—this isn’t my first visit, and I only book this specific room because it’s perfect for solo travelers like me. Though labeled as a double room, it feels spacious and incredibly comfortable for one person. The bed is wide with two soft mattresses, ideal for a restful night’s sleep. There are two pillows, the bed is positioned by the window so you can enjoy natural light, and everything you need is right there: TV, Wi-Fi, dual lighting options (blue and regular), a chair for your belongings, a closet hanger, and a private bathroom inside the room. Bath amenities include a face towel, bath towel, liquid soap, and shampoo—very thoughtful. Just one thing to note: no slippers provided, so bring your own. Hot water is always available, which is a big plus. The room is on the second floor, and stepping down to the ground level gives access to a cozy shared space with a fridge, tables, chairs, a small sofa, microwave, coffee and tea machine (all under 80 rubles), plus free coffee, sugar, and tea bags. There’s also an electric kettle and a water dispenser offering both hot and cold water. Need to do laundry? A washing machine is available for 300 rubles. Smoking is allowed only outside—keeps the air fresh and quiet. I had a truly relaxing stay, and I’ll definitely come back. After trying countless hostels, capsule hotels, and budget accommodations, this hotel stands out in every way—not just for comfort but for location too. It’s tucked into a quiet courtyard, with bus and trolleybus stops right outside the gate. Getting to the metro or city center is super easy. There’s a nearby cafeteria for quick meals. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any questions. If you’re visiting St. Petersburg—the most magical, enchanting city in the world—I highly recommend staying here. You’ll feel at home, well taken care of, and fully immersed in the beauty of this incredible place. Until next time, my beloved Saint Petersburg! ❤️❤️❤️

Grand Hotel Emerald

After reading countless reviews on the platform, I finally chose Grand Hotel Emerald and was genuinely impressed. The entire check-in and stay experience was smooth and seamless—exactly what I hoped for. The hotel is spotless, with a fantastic breakfast that can even be delivered to your room if you prefer. Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, with dedicated personnel helping with luggage, which made the arrival feel effortless. Located just a short walk from the train station, it’s convenient for getting around. While major attractions like the Hermitage, Church of the Savior on Blood, and the Great Bookstore aren’t right next door, walking along Nevsky Prospekt is part of the charm—there are so many little shops and cafes to explore along the way. One unique touch in our room was a signed artwork by a famous figure hanging above the bed—anyone else stayed in that same room? The only minor downside is the lack of in-room Wi-Fi, but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all—my phone hotspot worked perfectly fine. Overall, this place offers excellent value, comfort, and atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

Helvetia Hotel

The Helvetia Hotel truly delivers an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service is impeccable—attentive, warm, and genuinely thoughtful at every turn. The room itself is well-equipped with modern amenities, and the heated towel rack is a game-changer; nothing beats stepping out of the shower to wrap yourself in a warm, soft towel. High-end toiletries add that extra touch of luxury, making the stay feel even more premium. Both on-site restaurants are excellent—the food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Breakfast may not have a massive variety, but each item is thoughtfully prepared and tastes fantastic. Location-wise, it's perfectly situated for exploring St. Petersburg, with easy access to public transit. Overall, this is a standout choice for travelers who value comfort, quality, and attention to detail. I’d absolutely stay here again.
