Facilities are top-notch: the indoor pool, spa-like hot spring, and well-equipped fitness center were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The lobby’s artistic design sets the tone for the whole experience—elegant and inviting. Surrounded by lush greenery and a serene garden atmosphere, the hotel feels like a peaceful retreat. A short stroll takes you straight to Hai'eng Dam, with easy access to ethnic villages and Hai'eng Park—ideal for sightseeing or just relaxing. Breakfast was exceptional—wide variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious flavors. The Chinese restaurant stood out especially; their claypot rice was rich, aromatic, and unforgettable. The second bedroom has a slightly smaller bed, so we had my mom and kid stay in the main room while my husband and I took the smaller one—no issues at all. The hotel is nestled in a quiet villa area right by the lake, just a short walk from Ethnic Village, making it super convenient for exploring. From the moment I arrived, everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. What truly stood out was the service from the lovely concierge staff—she called within minutes of my booking to confirm my preferences and greeted me warmly upon arrival. She even shared personalized travel tips for exploring Kunming, complete with local restaurant recommendations. I followed her advice and had an amazing meal at Sweet Bamboo, a must-try for Yunnan cuisine. I also picked up a beautiful bracelet at the hotel gift corner—simple yet elegant, perfect for souvenirs. Breakfast was outstanding: a wide variety of fresh, delicious dishes, especially the handmade rice noodles that I still dream about.
