Returning now, I’m amazed at how well-preserved everything still is—rooms are impeccably maintained, with only minor issues like slightly stiff cabinet doors that don’t detract from the overall quality. The bedside clock looks exactly as it did a decade ago—no signs of wear at all. It’s genuinely surprising and touching to see such consistency. Despite ongoing renovations, service levels remain top-notch, and every staff member I interacted with was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Kudos to the team for keeping the standard so high. Unfortunately, I heard the hotel will be rebranding soon—making this stay feel even more special. If you’re looking for a luxurious, well-cared-for retreat in Changsha with thoughtful details and excellent hospitality, this is one of the best options around. Located just steps away from the resort area, and with a free shuttle service to the Ocean Park, convenience was effortless. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The hotel staff, especially Ella the concierge, went above and beyond—she patiently answered all our questions about transportation, local cuisine, and must-visit attractions, even sending us a detailed itinerary before check-in. Our room was upgraded free of charge by the front desk team, which made the stay even more special. On January 2nd, the housekeeping staff left a sweet handwritten note with a small gift—so thoughtful! Though I didn’t get a photo, it truly warmed my heart. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to both Line 2 and Line 6 of the metro, making it super easy to explore downtown Changsha. Everything from service to convenience was top-notch. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Definitely coming back next time.

What truly blew me away was the elevator: it has a cozy sofa inside and takes you straight to the 93rd floor without stopping, making the ride feel like a mini luxury experience. The view from the high floor is unbeatable—overlooking Orange Isle, with a telescope provided for detailed sightseeing. I could even spot nearby famous food streets and popular local spots like Dongmao Street tea stalls and Denglong Street's famous 'Bunna' shop. The hotel’s location is perfect—elegant yet close to real street life, with countless trendy cafés and small shops just outside. Cleanliness was impeccable—no flaws anywhere.
