This estate is absolutely massive—beyond the main building, it spreads across an entire hillside with a beautifully arranged cluster of villas (Xiangyuan) nestled among the trees. Just strolling in the sunshine felt like a mini escape from reality. The staff were proactive even before check-in, reaching out to ask about our preferences, and continued checking in throughout our stay—very attentive without being intrusive. From front desk to concierge, everyone responded quickly and warmly. We tried the yakitori dinner at Yiba and breakfast, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. Despite the surprisingly long corridors in the guest rooms—some of us joked we’d need a map to find our way back—the overall experience was outstanding. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a peaceful retreat that made our weekend truly memorable.

I’ve long admired Wangzhuang, the iconic lakeside retreat near West Lake in Hangzhou, and finally had the chance to stay here during a Black Friday deal that felt like a steal. The moment I stepped in, I could tell this was something special—excellent service, top-notch dining, and an atmosphere that truly feels luxurious. The property is vast, with beautifully maintained lawns and trees. Since we visited right at peak season for maple and ginkgo foliage, the grounds were gently dusted with golden leaves, creating a magical, almost cinematic setting. Paths are clean and well-kept, making it easy to wander around for hours just taking photos and soaking in the scenery. We booked the daily 10 AM 'Wangzhuang Cruise' tour, which circles West Lake in about an hour. The boat itself is spotless, with comfortable upholstered seats, air-conditioned enclosed cabins, and panoramic glass windows that offer stunning views of both sides of the lake. I especially loved standing at the back deck to capture sweeping shots of the water and gardens—absolutely breathtaking. The highlight of the stay was the complimentary photography package. While one of the staff members from Hainan came across as rather abrupt and inflexible, the photographer, Mr. Song, and the makeup artist were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Their work brought out the best in our photos, and the final results were truly memorable. Overall, despite a minor hiccup, the experience exceeded expectations—this place deserves every bit of its reputation.

Located right in the heart of Binjiang District, it's incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers—just a short walk to shopping centers and public transit options. The buffet breakfast was impressive: wide variety, fresh ingredients, and well-prepared dishes from both local and international cuisines. Staff were friendly and attentive, making every interaction pleasant. The only minor issue was inconsistent hot and cold water pressure, possibly due to the building’s height, but it didn’t significantly impact the stay. All in all, this is a top-tier hotel with excellent value, and I’d definitely return.

The lounge area is beautifully designed—one side opens to the pool, while the other leads down to a charming garden connected to the ground-floor restaurant. The staircase layout has a playful, almost Squid Game-inspired vibe, making it ideal for Instagram-worthy shots. And let’s not forget the adorable pink inflatable bunny guarding the entrance—cute and photogenic! The lobby is compact but welcoming, with cozy seating and a small coffee bar nearby. The staff, especially front desk agent Xiao Xue, went above and beyond with warm, attentive service. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Overall, an unforgettable stay with exceptional value—definitely planning to return.

Parking was a breeze thanks to the spacious underground garage with two levels. The room itself was stylish, bright, and generously sized, with top-notch amenities and high-quality ELEMIS bath products. Breakfast was outstanding—huge variety, fresh ingredients, and great flavors. Everything about this stay felt polished and well thought out. I’ll definitely be back.

The minibar was well-stocked with plenty of options: sparkling water, Cha Time tea drinks, and beer—perfect for a relaxed evening. We also received complimentary lounge drink vouchers from the group, which allowed us to enjoy a simple Americano or green tea in the lobby bar. Fresh welcome fruits upon arrival added a nice touch. The only minor downside was that the pool wasn’t open on Wednesday, but overall, the ambiance is modern, clean, and inviting. Located close to downtown, it’s super convenient for getting around—just a short ride to West Lake and the bustling Hulbin pedestrian street. Excellent service, great value, and a memorable stay.
