I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.
Staying at Conrad Seoul was an absolute delight! The views of the Han River and the hotel's elegant design truly stood out—every corner felt luxurious and thoughtfully crafted. What really impressed me was the housekeeping staff who meticulously arranged my cosmetics every day, making me feel almost guilty for using them! 😂 The front desk and concierge team were incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. On one occasion, I was running late for a scheduled photoshoot, and the doorman not only proactively called the studio to request a time extension but also immediately helped me secure a taxi—all while showing more urgency than I did! That level of dedication and care is rare and deeply appreciated. This place isn’t just a stay; it’s a memorable experience from start to finish.

What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. We’re both light sleepers, so we intentionally booked a two-bedroom suite for this trip—and it was absolutely the right choice. The Grand Yeouido Hotel is perfect for family stays—just the right size with plenty of space without feeling empty. Its location right at the exit of National Assembly Station makes getting around Seoul incredibly convenient, whether you're heading to business districts or tourist spots. The housekeeping is excellent; every time we entered the room, it felt fresh and well-maintained. The surrounding area of Yeouido is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, offering a serene escape from the city hustle while still being close to everything you need. It's a smart choice for travelers who value both comfort and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again on any future trip to Seoul—highly recommend!

I didn’t get any photos of the room, but the space is generous with two desks, good natural light from the windows, and a layout that feels open and comfortable. It’s a bit farther from popular spots like Myeongdong and Hongdae—about 30 minutes by subway—but that’s totally manageable since the hotel sits right next to the subway station and a CU convenience store. You’re never far from what you need. Across the street is an old-school fish cake and rice cake shop—super tasty and worth a visit if you're craving something authentic. The location is quiet, which is perfect if you prefer a more peaceful stay away from crowds. Plus, the value-for-money factor is strong. If you want roominess and a calm vibe, this place is a great choice. The nearest station is Sinlim on Line 2—both exits 5 and 6 are accessible, and exit 5 has a moving walkway, making it easier with luggage. One small note: toothbrush and toothpaste aren’t provided, but they’re super affordable—around 1,000 KRW (roughly HK$5) gets you a full set of two brushes and toothpaste. Not a big deal at all. Overall, a solid, well-thought-out stay with excellent cleanliness and convenience—definitely would return.
Staying at The Connoisseur Residence Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul was a great experience overall. While it’s a bit farther from the main tourist attractions, the proximity to subway stations makes getting around the city incredibly convenient. Check-in and check-out were smooth and quick, with friendly staff making the process hassle-free. The room itself is well-equipped—especially the laundry machine and dryer, which made my stay much more comfortable, particularly during longer visits. The space felt spacious and clean, with modern amenities that added to the comfort. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and would definitely book again. If the price were a little more competitive, this would be my go-to hotel every time I visit Seoul.
