Everything you need to know about Haeundae Beach

Hyatt Regency Busan is a top choice for its prime location directly facing Haeundae Beach. Guests enjoy panoramic ocean views from spacious rooms and access to a private beach area. The hotel features an indoor pool, luxury spa, and fine dining options. Located just a 5-minute walk from the beach, it’s perfect for swimming, surfing, or relaxing under the sun. Nearby attractions include Haeundae Shopping Mall and local street food markets, offering a vibrant mix of culture and convenience.

The most convenient option is taking Busan Metro Line 2, which runs directly from downtown to Haeundae Station in about 20 minutes. It’s a fast, reliable, and affordable route with no transfers needed. Alternatively, several bus lines (such as Bus 101 and 104) also connect central Busan to Haeundae Beach, ideal for travelers preferring bus travel. Both options offer easy access to the beach, making it simple to enjoy swimming, surfing, or simply relaxing by the sea.

Don’t miss trying surfing lessons on the waves—local schools offer beginner-friendly sessions with certified instructors. At night, visit the lively Haeundae Night Market, where you can savor authentic Korean street food like grilled squid, spicy rice cakes, and fried chicken. Stroll along the seaside promenade to enjoy the stunning lighthouse and city skyline illuminated at dusk. For cultural immersion, join weekend traditional Korean workshops on hanbok dressing or tea ceremonies, offering a deeper connection to Busan’s heritage.

Busan Centum Victoria Hotel

The hotel is perfectly located right next to the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around Busan. Just steps away, you'll find a large supermarket and Lotte Department Store—perfect for shopping or grabbing essentials. The room was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable stay. One thing to note is that the laundry machine costs 3,000 KRW per use, but you can purchase detergent on-site if needed. While the room comes with a pot and dishes, it’s a bit inconvenient that utensils like chopsticks and spoons aren’t provided—especially if you’re planning to cook or eat simple meals in-room. It would be great if the hotel could include basic cutlery in future. Overall, the location, size, and cleanliness make this a fantastic value for money. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and convenience.

Busan Jaesongdong Wow

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, everything felt seamless and welcoming. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the metro station and surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and local vibes. My room was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, professional, and always ready to help. I appreciated how responsive they were to any small request. The price-to-quality ratio is outstanding; you truly get more than what you pay for. Plus, the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place delivers on every level. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Busan.

The apartment is perfect for a relaxing stay, with all the essentials neatly provided. It’s just a short subway ride away from Haeundae Beach, making it super convenient for exploring the area. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely book again on my next trip to Busan. Highly recommend this cozy, well-located home away from home.

Ara Hotel

Staying at Ara Hotel was a fantastic experience—my room was significantly larger than any I’ve had in Seoul, and the price was much more affordable. What really stood out was the small table with two chairs; it’s such a thoughtful touch for working or enjoying a quiet drink. The only thing to note is that daily housekeeping isn’t included, but it didn’t bother me since I prefer keeping things tidy on my own. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—they offered helpful tips about local spots and even recommended great nearby restaurants. The location is perfect: just a short walk to Haeundae Beach, and easily accessible by subway for exploring other parts of Busan. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money and a cozy, personalized vibe. I’d definitely book here again if I’m back in Busan.

CANVAS HOSTEL BLACK

I stayed at Canvas Hostel Black in Busan and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the city. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality. My room was cozy with a soft bed, ambient lighting, and all the essentials working perfectly—TV, AC, shower, you name it. I slept like a baby, though not entirely uninterrupted. Around midnight, I heard a faint tapping from behind the wall, almost like someone gently knocking. At first, I thought it was the pipes, but then I caught a whisper—just a soft, barely audible 'hello.' It wasn’t creepy at all; more like a quiet greeting from an old friend. I even said goodnight back, and I swear I felt a whisper in reply. There’s something magical about staying somewhere that feels lived-in, layered with stories. If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-located stay with a touch of mystery and soul, this place is absolutely perfect. Great value, great vibe, and a ghost who seems to really enjoy the quiet life.

The hotel is literally right on the seafront—walking out the front door, you're greeted by endless ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-maintained with thoughtful touches throughout. I was particularly impressed with the attention to hygiene—every corner felt fresh and sanitized. Location-wise, it's perfect: close to the beach, just a short walk from local restaurants and cafes, and easily accessible by subway into downtown. I visited during the off-season, and the rates were incredibly reasonable for such a high-quality stay. If you're looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway in Busan with excellent value, this hotel is a top recommendation.

Park Hyatt Busan

Staying at Park Hyatt Busan was an absolute highlight of my trip to Busan. The hotel's prime location directly facing the Garanh Bridge offers breathtaking views, especially at night—seeing the city lights sparkle across the water is unforgettable. Just steps from the hotel, the Busan Film Festival Walkway is a must-visit for its creative vibe and photo-worthy spots. The room itself was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with a stunning view of the yacht marina—perfect for capturing some great shots. While the front desk is located on the 30th floor, all guest rooms are on floors below, making access easy and convenient. Service was professional and efficient, meeting all expectations without any surprises. Plus, there are plenty of nearby convenience stores, so everything you need is just a short walk away. This place truly delivers luxury, comfort, and charm—highly recommend for anyone visiting Busan.

My stay at Grand Josun Busan was absolutely perfect. The front desk staff were incredibly professional and friendly—English communication was seamless, and they went above and beyond to assist with everything from recommendations to restaurant bookings. The room itself wasn’t huge, but it was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials you’d need for a comfortable stay. Ananti at Busan Cove

Nestled in a quieter part of Busan, Ananti at Busan Cove feels like a hidden gem — serene and peaceful, yet surprisingly convenient. Even though it's not right in the heart of the city, getting here is easy with taxis or public transit. The moment you step into the hotel, you’re greeted with a calm, modern vibe and thoughtful touches throughout. Our room had stunning sea views, and waking up to the sound of waves was pure relaxation. Staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The Westin Josun Busan

Staying in the executive floor was a highlight, and while the happy hour snacks were a bit simple, everything else about this hotel exceeded expectations. The location is unbeatable—right next to the beach with a stunning ocean view, and just behind the hotel, you’ll find scenic walking trails through the hills, perfect for a peaceful stroll. Staff went above and beyond—my luggage was delivered straight to my room without any request for tips, which felt genuinely thoughtful. The housekeeping staff were professional and polished, with subtle makeup and elegant earrings, reflecting the hotel’s attention to detail. Signiel Busan

Staying at Signiel Busan was an absolute delight. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and packed with top-notch amenities—everything you’d want for a comfortable stay. Though it’s located a bit further down from the main part of Haeundae Beach, the best part is that the beach is literally right outside the door. Waking up to ocean views and walking barefoot on the sand in the morning felt like pure bliss. Summer here is unbeatable—perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and enjoying the seaside vibe. But even in winter, this place shines if the price drops below $200. With cozy heating and stunning sea views, it’s a great value option when the rates are right. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet relaxing getaway in Busan, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Ananti at Busan Village

This was the perfect stay for our family of four! The bathroom is thoughtfully separated with dedicated washing and shower areas, and there are two sinks plus a separate shower stall and bathtub—so convenient and clean. We had two double beds, which made sleeping comfortable for both my kids (elementary and middle school age) and us adults. Despite the split-level layout, the bedroom ceiling height is generous—my husband is 178 cm tall, and he didn’t feel cramped at all. The ocean view from the window is breathtaking; just sitting on the sofa and gazing out at the sea was incredibly relaxing. It truly felt like a mini escape. I can’t wait to come back here on our next trip to Busan!
