My stay at Fairfield by Marriott Hangzhou Xihu District was a really positive experience overall. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The surrounding area is peaceful and close to West Lake, making it ideal for morning walks or evening strolls with great views. Breakfast was excellent—varied options, fresh ingredients, and a nice atmosphere, especially the local-style breakfast items which stood out. The only downside was parking: limited space on the ground level, and access to the underground garage required navigating through a nearby residential compound. Unfortunately, the elevator wasn’t operational yet, so I had to walk up from the basement to the main lobby—slightly inconvenient, especially with luggage. However, there are slow-charging spots available in the underground lot, which is a thoughtful addition for electric vehicle drivers. Despite that small hiccup, the hotel offers great value, excellent location, and friendly service. Definitely worth staying again.

Nearby Xiangji Temple even offers free admission, making it a peaceful spot to reflect or light incense. The staff went above and beyond—they noticed I had a minor skin abrasion and kindly offered a bandage. When checking out, they even handed me a little New Year gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring service. This hotel offers great value and comfort. Staying at PI Hotel in Hangzhou was such a fun and memorable experience! Located right near Huanglong Sports Center, it’s super convenient to get around—just a short walk or quick metro ride away. The hotel is on the 15th floor with two levels, giving it a spacious and unique vibe. I loved the breakfast—huge variety, especially the dumplings and wontons, which were fresh and delicious. The room had a beautiful Japanese-style tatami design, very calming and cozy. Bonus: they offer free traditional outfits like kimonos and hanfu for guests to wear—perfect for taking cool photos with friends. We even got upgraded to a larger room, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Clean environment, great staff, and amazing atmosphere. Definitely coming back—the value is unbeatable!

I'd been holding onto this hotel booking for a while and was a bit unsure if the service quality would be compromised since it was a discounted deal. But from the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Before arrival, they even called to confirm my check-in time, ask about room preferences, and whether I needed transportation—so thoughtful! Upon check-in, they kindly reminded me that free late-night snacks were available at the lobby after 9:30 PM, which was such a nice surprise. After settling into my room, they followed up with a quick call to ensure everything was satisfactory. When I mentioned the air conditioner was a bit noisy, they responded immediately by sending a technician to adjust it right away—super responsive! The room itself was cozy and well-decorated, the bathroom spotless, and the breakfast spread was both delicious and varied. My partner and I had a really comfortable stay.
