Our package included just one breakfast, but since we were staying as a couple, the front desk staff kindly upgraded us to an additional complimentary breakfast with no extra charge—such a thoughtful touch. The location is fantastic, right near Xinghai Square and the Convention & Exhibition Center, making it super convenient for exploring the city via subway. I kept the window open the entire time, but it didn’t help much with cooling down—made it tough to sleep comfortably. If you’re sensitive to heat, be mindful of this, and consider requesting a room with better climate control or bringing a light blanket. That said, everything else was top-notch: great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and fantastic value for money. Definitely would book again.

It’s still a well-maintained luxury hotel with all standard amenities you’d expect. Breakfast was solid, offering more variety than some Westin locations but slightly less than certain Marriott properties. That said, the food quality stood out: the pastries were excellent, juices and milk options were plentiful, and the hot dishes were flavorful despite limited choices. The braised pork belly with potatoes was rich and aromatic, while the steamed shrimp were large and fresh. One area for improvement? The fruit wasn’t very sweet, and the quality could be better. But cleanliness was spotless—no issues there. The location is truly special: perched on a hill overlooking the sea, it’s one of Dalian’s iconic landmarks. Nighttime photos are absolutely stunning, and walking down to the city takes about 10–15 minutes—quiet and peaceful, though not directly next to a subway station. Taxis are easy to catch. The rooftop garden on the fifth floor is a hidden gem, perfect for relaxing or just enjoying the view. The lobby itself is grand and beautifully designed—every corner is photogenic. Service was exceptional: staff greeted us warmly, opened doors, helped with luggage, and the dedicated concierge team went above and beyond to accommodate requests. The minibar comes at an extra cost, but we were pleasantly surprised with a welcome fruit platter, dessert, and a generous bottle of house-brewed beer—a unique touch. A quick 15-minute cab ride gets you to Jinsha Beach, making it easy to explore more of the city. Spontaneous trip, and somehow ended up at Lulinhaisu – such a happy surprise! The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from Xinghai Square, yet once inside the hotel, it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city buzz. The room was spotless, beautifully designed with a calming vibe, and every time I opened the window, I was greeted by endless ocean views – pure serenity. Walking out, I could easily head down to feed the seagulls and capture some perfect photos. The rooftop deck is unbeatable for watching the Xinghai Bay Bridge light show at night – absolutely magical. The front desk staff were so friendly and responsive; any question I had was answered instantly. Overall, this stay exceeded all expectations.
