This place is a complete disappointment. The room was dirty with stained sheets, and if you wanted to see outside the window, you’d have to clean it yourself. No laundry facilities were available, and they only changed linens on used beds—so expect a layer of dust. Mold and missing grout were visible in the bathroom, while water damage marked the walls. The shower towels provided were actually hand towel-sized, which was frustrating. Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and the coffee shop mentioned online doesn’t exist. Multiple toilets leaked onto the floor every time they were flushed. The photos of the property looked outdated—based on the wear and tear, they probably haven’t been updated in at least 20 years. This hotel is far from what’s advertised, and the overall condition is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a decent stay.

That said, it’s worth noting there’s no Wi-Fi in the room—bring your own hotspot or rely on the public network provided by the platform. Overall, the place is spotless, and the bathroom comes with basic amenities like toothpaste, soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner—everything else you’ll need to bring yourself. Since the resort mainly hosts large groups (like school trips or student tours from the mainland), it can get a bit noisy, especially during evenings. But that’s part of the vibe—lively and social. The beach is just a 30-second walk away, and right next to it is a photogenic rainbow stone area—perfect for Instagram-worthy shots. In the evening, you can head to a nearby bar offering authentic Korean street food—tasty, affordable, and full of flavor. There are also convenience stores and food delivery options around, so you’re never far from a meal. While the pool costs 5,000 KRW and operates from 10 AM to 10 PM, and breakfast is 9,000 KRW (though we didn’t use either), the overall value is excellent. For the location, cleanliness, and ease of access to everything, this place earns every point—it’s truly a great stay!

I chose Air City Hotel mainly for the airport shuttle service, and I can’t say enough about how convenient the location is. The hotel sits right on the main road—just step out the front door, turn left, and you’re at School Village Fried Chicken and BBQ Chicken. A short walk down the street leads to Hwajung Road, where there’s a CU convenience store uphill and plenty of great dining options nearby. Across the street is Kim Bok Nam Fried Chicken, so food is never far away. Even late at night—around 11 or 12 PM—the area still feels safe and lively with people around. The only hiccup was being assigned to a room on the 4th floor upon check-in. It felt off right away—completely different from the photos online. The room didn’t have the desk and chair shown in the listing, and it just felt smaller than expected. I immediately went back to reception, and though they apologized, they explained no rooms were available that day. They promised to upgrade us first thing tomorrow. And sure enough, the next morning I was moved to a room on the 14th floor—exactly like the pictures: spacious, well-lit, with a proper desk and comfortable layout. The difference was night and day. The staff were very helpful, spoke fluent Chinese, and handled everything smoothly. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value, especially with its prime location, reliable shuttle, and responsive customer service. Just a quick heads-up: if your room doesn’t match the photos, don’t hesitate to ask—your comfort matters, and the team will make it right.
