The location is perfect—just a short metro ride from Dongjiao Memory, with great access to dining, shopping, and local attractions. The room design is sleek and tech-forward, with top-notch gaming equipment: large screens, smooth performance, and comfortable chairs. I played for hours without any lag or discomfort. The bed was incredibly cozy—great for those late-night gaming sessions. Cleanliness is spot-on, and the staff were friendly and responsive. Everything was well thought out, from the Wi-Fi speed to the ambient lighting. If you're into gaming or just want a unique, high-energy stay in Chengdu, this place is a must-visit. Shadow Island E-sports Homestay

Overall, I was really satisfied with my stay. The homestay is located on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building near Ayuanyuan Plaza, and there are tons of delicious local snacks just downstairs—perfect for late-night cravings. Even though it’s on the 2nd floor, the room has excellent soundproofing and windows that keep noise out completely. Best of all, for under $200, you can get a solid e-sports room right at a metro station entrance—great value for money. That said, there are two areas where the host could improve: First, as an e-gaming space, stable internet should be a top priority. I had trouble launching Steam and connecting to online games—without a VPN, many titles wouldn’t even load. When playing *Yujian Wu Jian*, the lag was unbearable during larger player matches, which was frustrating. Second, cleanliness needs more attention. I found a bent hair in the toilet bowl before use—definitely not something you want to see. It’s hard not to wonder where it came from. Still, these are just suggestions for improvement. Given how affordable this place is, the overall experience remains strong. For the price, you can’t expect perfection—but it’s definitely a great option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly gaming stay.

The hotel’s perfect for morning walks or runs—the two entrances lead directly to scenic green paths. Getting around was effortless too: taxis were readily available right outside, and parking was free and convenient. The service deserves a special mention—especially the front desk staff who greeted us with genuine warmth, chatted with my child, and even handed over a little teddy bear.
