W Taipei

Staying at W Taipei was an absolute delight—every detail screams luxury and thoughtfulness. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the metro, making it easy to explore Taipei. I loved the little touches: USB-C outlets, wireless charging pads, and even complimentary capsule coffee in the room. While the minibar items are extra-charge, the overall value still feels strong. The sauna experience was exceptional—pure relaxation. The 24-hour gym is a major plus for early birds or night owls like me. One small note: the speakers in the room are a bit quiet and lack strong audio impact, but it’s hardly a dealbreaker. Oh, and the hairdryer? A Dyson—yes, really! That alone made the stay feel extra special. Overall, this is a top-tier urban retreat with style, comfort, and attention to detail.

Located just minutes from the city center, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Taipei, and the overall experience was outstanding. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Taipei Marriott Hotel

The lobby on the first floor is beautifully designed with a grand, welcoming atmosphere. Multiple elevators mean no long waits—definitely a plus for convenience. We booked during the week, but unexpectedly found the hotel fully booked that day, leaving only double rooms available. We even wanted to extend our stay by one more night, but unfortunately, the next day was also completely full—really disappointing! Still, the room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There are plenty of dining options right downstairs, and across the street, you’ll find a 7-Eleven and a Cosme store—super convenient for snacks or essentials. The location and service make it worth returning. My only advice? Book early—don’t wait until the last minute, especially if you’re planning a weekend or midweek trip!

Le Meridien Taipei

We recently stayed at Le Meridien Taipei with our daughter who had just returned from the U.S., and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. As a longtime fan of the brand, we were thrilled by the diverse dining options—especially the Chinese restaurant (Han She Shu Pu) and the buffet’s signature beef noodle soup, which tasted like home. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a stunning view of Taipei’s skyline. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—always smiling and ready to help. Located near several shopping malls and cinemas, the hotel is also steps away from some of the best local street food spots, including Xiao Nan Men Douhua and Chun Shui Tang, where we enjoyed authentic Taiwanese treats. Everything about this stay felt special—from the elegant ambiance to the thoughtful touches. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Taipei!

Even on rainy days when stepping outside wasn’t an option, I still felt completely at ease. The quiet ambiance, excellent lighting, and cozy bed made it easy to unwind or work without distractions. What truly stood out, though, was the staff’s warm hospitality. From check-in to checkout, every team member greeted me with a genuine smile and went the extra mile to ensure my stay was seamless and pleasant. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor made all the difference. This is definitely a top choice for anyone visiting Taipei, and I’ll be returning in the near future.

Staying at Aloft Taipei Zhongshan was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a 3-minute walk from Exit 1 of Zhongshan Elementary Station, making it super convenient for exploring the city via metro. The front desk staff were energetic and courteous, making check-in a breeze. I also appreciated the attentive service at the 17th-floor restaurant, where the team went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable dining experience. The room itself was spacious, with plenty of room to move around, and the bathroom felt generous and well-designed. Best of all, right behind the hotel lies Shuangcheng Street Night Market—a food lover’s paradise! Whether you're after budget-friendly street snacks or more upscale local delicacies, there's something for every taste and wallet. Shangri-La Far Eastern, Taipei

I’d been wanting to stay at Shangri-La Far Eastern Taipei for a while, mainly because my travel group consisted of three people who all wanted individual beds and a single room. I was a bit hesitant at first since most of the online reviews were from 2017–2018, but once I arrived, I completely changed my mind—this hotel exceeded all expectations. The ambiance is incredibly luxurious, and the overall quality is top-notch. The room was much bigger than the photos suggested, offering plenty of space and a really comfortable feel. From the moment we walked in, the bell staff and front desk team were welcoming and professional—every interaction was pleasant. The signature fragrance and premium toiletries added that extra touch of sophistication. Initially, I was disappointed to learn that none of the four-room options had views of Taipei 101 (which was part of our original shortlist), but after seeing the room in person, I didn’t care about the view at all—the condition, cleanliness, and comfort were just too good. During our 3-night stay, we only encountered one other Korean guest (in the elevator!), and the breakfast area and pool were mostly filled with European travelers, giving it a very international vibe. What stood out the most was how the hotel proactively sent us a confirmation email after booking to confirm our schedule—something many 5-star hotels don’t do. It made planning so much easier and gave me peace of mind. Overall, this trip was enjoyable and stress-free thanks to the excellent service. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

Mandarin Oriental Taipei

This trip to Asia included stays at other luxury hotels like Mandarin Oriental's counterparts, but none could match the exceptional experience at Mandarin Oriental Taipei. From the moment I walked in, warm greetings from staff made me feel instantly welcome—like coming home. The room was immaculately clean and meticulously maintained; even my tangled data cable was neatly organized and secured with a hotel-provided tie. Daily water replenishment was prompt, and the nightly turndown service went above and beyond—my room was refreshed, essentials restocked, and everything put back just right. The location is fantastic: surrounded by excellent restaurants and easily accessible via public transit to major attractions. Every team member I interacted with showed genuine care and professionalism. It’s rare to find such consistent attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality. I can’t wait to return.

Grand Hyatt Taipei

My stay at Grand Hyatt Taipei was absolutely outstanding. The location couldn’t be better—right across from Taipei 101 and nestled in the heart of Xinyi District, making it incredibly easy to explore shops, restaurants, and attractions on foot. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the staff made me feel welcome with genuine warmth and professionalism. The space is elegant and inviting, setting the tone for a luxurious experience. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, with a plush bed and an incredible view of Taipei 101—worth every penny. Housekeeping maintained the highest standard throughout my visit, keeping everything spotless and well-organized. Breakfast was a highlight—a generous buffet offering a wide range of fresh, delicious options from both Western and Asian cuisines. I especially appreciated the quality and variety. The fitness center and pool were well-maintained and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day. Overall, this hotel delivers on every front: comfort, service, and convenience. It’s a top-tier choice for any traveler visiting Taipei, and I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip.

Regent Taipei

Staying at Regent Taipei was an absolute delight, especially with the complimentary 10,000 yuan voucher that made this experience feel like a nostalgic treat. The breakfast and afternoon tea were exceptional—high-quality, well-prepared, and delicious, though it did get quite busy, so expect some wait times during peak hours. What truly stood out was the staff: every single team member was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. Special thanks to Song, who helped with check-out—his thoughtful kindness and personal touch left a lasting impression. The entire property is smoke-free, which contributes to a clean, peaceful atmosphere. I stayed in a south-facing room, and the natural light streaming in throughout the day was beautiful. The bed was firm, but surprisingly comfortable—I slept really well without any discomfort. The only minor note is that lighting in the elevator and hallway could be a bit brighter, but it’s a small detail in an otherwise outstanding stay. This hotel offers elegance, comfort, and excellent service at a great value. I’ll definitely be back.

Grand Mayfull Taipei

Staying at Grand Mayfull Taipei was an absolute delight from start to finish. The hotel went above and beyond by helping us secure family rooms in the same area—something we arranged three months in advance, and it made our stay so much more convenient and comfortable. The ambiance is serene and beautifully maintained, with a clean, elegant atmosphere throughout the property. Staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful—always ready to assist with any request. Dining was another highlight; the food quality was exceptional, with thoughtful presentation and delicious flavors that truly reflected a high standard of service. It’s no surprise this place earns its reputation as a top-tier five-star hotel. I’m already planning my next visit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable, stress-free experience in Taipei.

eslite hotel

I finally stayed at the Eslite Hotel Taipei, and it completely lived up to my expectations! The front desk was incredibly helpful—they upgraded us to a room with a view of Taipei 101 and the Dome, which made the whole experience even more special. The hotel isn’t huge, but everything is well-organized and thoughtfully designed, creating a calm, inviting atmosphere. Breakfast was a semi-self-service style with classic Taiwanese flavors—delicious, filling, and perfect for starting the day. The real highlight? The 24-hour bookstore right downstairs. I grabbed a few vinyl records late at night, and saw families reading with their kids—such a peaceful, inspiring vibe. Plus, both Songshan Cultural Park and the Dome are just a short walk away, making it super convenient for exploring. My only tiny suggestion: the towels and bath sheets have seen some wear and are slightly yellowed—maybe a replacement schedule could help maintain that fresh feel. But honestly, this doesn’t take away from how much I loved the location, service, and overall charm. A truly unique stay in the heart of Taipei.
