Park Hyatt Tokyo

Staying at Park Hyatt Tokyo felt like being wrapped in pure luxury from the moment I stepped in. The service is truly next-level—thoughtful, discreet, and flawless. I spent hours in my room sipping tea or wine while gazing at the view of Mount Fuji or the glittering skyline of Tokyo at night. It’s breathtaking—truly unbeatable. The room was impeccably cleaned twice daily, yet I never saw the housekeeping staff, which speaks volumes about how seamless their work is. The library is a hidden gem—calm, elegant, and perfect for unwinding. Staff were incredibly helpful, especially one team member named Xiaoqi Sun who went above and beyond to help me recover a lost piece of jewelry. So grateful! Several restaurant staff spoke fluent Chinese, making communication smooth and stress-free. The club lounge staff were warm and attentive too. My only note: there’s a persistent gasoline smell near the second-floor entrance, where staff often stand guard. It’s not just unpleasant—it’s concerning for their well-being. I sincerely hope this gets addressed during the upcoming renovation. Otherwise, this hotel is absolutely perfect.

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi

Staying at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Otemachi for the second time, and I’m still completely in love with this place. It’s now my top choice in Tokyo — the service is thoughtful and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. This time, I upgraded to a Deluxe Suite on the highest floor, directly facing the Imperial Palace. The view is absolutely breathtaking: panoramic cityscapes during the day, and magical nighttime views from the bathtub right by the window. The bathroom is spacious and fully separate, with premium fittings and an incredible layout that makes every moment feel luxurious. Room service is available 24/7 — breakfast delivered to your room costs the same as dining in-house, but I’d still choose delivery for the convenience and the generous fruit platter. The hotel’s VITRU bar on the lobby level is ranked among Asia’s Top 50 — designed with inspiration from a renowned Parisian bar, it has a sophisticated French aesthetic, excellent cocktails, and surprisingly reasonable prices. Guests can walk in easily, no hassle. Location-wise, while it’s not right next to the subway station (it’s on top of Otemachi Station, owned by Mitsui), getting to Tokyo Station is just a quick ride, and Silver Street is within 10 minutes by taxi. Plus, Otemachi itself is incredibly well-connected — way more convenient than areas like Azabu. Even though the hotel has been open a few years, everything still feels brand new, clean, and impeccably maintained. No signs of wear, just top-tier quality throughout. If you want a quiet, elevated urban retreat in central Tokyo with unbeatable views and exceptional service, this is it.

Nohga Hotel Ueno Tokyo

Staying at Nohga Hotel Ueno in Tokyo was a real highlight of my trip. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Ueno Station, which connects to all major lines and makes exploring the city super easy. Right outside the hotel, you've got Ameyoko Market with three bustling streets full of food stalls—great for grilled meats, fresh seafood, and even some delicious duck and dumplings. I especially loved the little sushi shop next to the dumpling place, where their pickled plum and shiso sushi was absolutely outstanding. There are two 24-hour convenience stores nearby, so late-night snacks or essentials are never an issue. The room itself is spacious for Tokyo standards—clean, well-maintained, with a smart toilet, separate shower area, and best of all, a rain showerhead! After checking so many hotels, finding one with this feature made my stay feel luxurious. The soundproofing is excellent—despite being near the elevator, there was zero noise from traffic or people passing by. A fridge is also included, which is always a plus. The pillows weren’t my favorite, but that’s a minor detail. Staff were friendly and helpful, though breakfast service slowed down during peak hours. Even with available seats, the kitchen couldn’t keep up, leading to long waits in front of the dining area. Still, the B-breakfast option tasted great and was worth the wait. Overall, this hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and value—definitely a top choice if you're visiting Tokyo.

Staying at Nohga Hotel Akihabara was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around Tokyo. On the ground floor, there’s a cozy Italian restaurant that’s always bustling with guests—great food and a warm atmosphere. We booked a room for three, and it was spacious and well-designed, with a smart wet/dry separation in the bathroom that made everything feel more functional and clean. Right across the street is a local Chinese restaurant—ideal for grabbing dinner without having to travel far. Everything about this hotel felt thoughtfully put together, from the cleanliness to the helpful staff. Highly recommend for families or travelers looking for comfort and convenience in a vibrant neighborhood.

Staying at Vessel Inn Ueno Iriya Station was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from check-in onwards—great service! The room is compact but very clean and cozy, with a lovely view of Tokyo Skytree right outside the window. It’s especially magical in the evening when the tower lights up. The hotel is super convenient, just a short 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Iriya Station. There's a 7-Eleven and a drugstore nearby for all your essentials. If you're heading toward Kitazawa or north, Exit 4 is perfect; if you're going toward Nakameguro via Ueno Station, use Exit 1—easy navigation. Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo

Staying at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—right next to the subway station, with a direct entrance from the basement restaurant level. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Shinjuku’s heart, making exploring the city effortless. The room was much larger than average for a Japanese hotel, clean, well-maintained, and stocked with high-quality toiletries—so refreshing. Breakfast was a highlight: a wide variety of options, from traditional Japanese dishes to Western favorites, all fresh and delicious. One of the best parts? The view from the south wing faces Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. During the day, you can spot Mount Fuji on clear days; at night, the building’s stunning light show lights up the skyline. From the moment I stepped into Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo, I was greeted with a sense of calm sophistication that instantly put me at ease. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern elegance and traditional Japanese hospitality—every detail feels intentional, from the minimalist design to the quiet attentiveness of the staff. Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Ikebukuro

I stayed for seven nights and couldn't be happier with my experience. I didn't take many photos during the stay—most were snapped at checkout, so they’re a bit messy—but that doesn’t change how amazing the hotel truly is. The room was perfect for one person: clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly and attentive service. Right across from the hotel is Lumine, making shopping and dining super convenient. With both JR and subway lines nearby, getting around Tokyo is a breeze. I took a direct train to the Harry Potter World in just 30 minutes—no transfers needed! Plus, the airport bus stops right outside the front door, which made my departure stress-free. This place offers unbeatable convenience and value. I’ll definitely be back again soon.
