Even with high demand at The Club Lounge, staff still offered gracious, low-bow service to members—such a nice touch. The welcome fruit and breakfast were both delicious and well-prepared. And the view? Absolutely breathtaking. The Bund skyline is stunning day or night—definitely worth every moment spent by the window. I’ve already taken countless photos and can’t wait to come back. Walking into the room was an instant delight. Cissy Jiang had hand-drawn a sweet little illustration of Chiqui Titi with a warm, heartfelt note—far from a standard welcome card. It felt personal, meaningful, and full of care. Nemo from housekeeping also contributed to the room’s thoughtful touches, with small but intentional details that showed real attention to detail. Ocean Hotel Shanghai

We booked three rooms for our family trip, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel staff went above and beyond—our rooms were upgraded for free, which was a wonderful surprise. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and the beds and pillows provided exceptional comfort, making for a restful night’s sleep. One minor issue was that the fabric sofa in the room looked a bit worn and needed cleaning. On one occasion, the housekeeping staff seemed slightly impatient when helping with a light fixture issue, but this didn’t overshadow the great service we received elsewhere. The front desk team was incredibly friendly and always eager to help. We loved how close the hotel is to the metro station—just a short walk away—and right across the street is a large shopping mall, perfect for dining and browsing. Unfortunately, we were too tired after late-night outings to try out the pool or gym, but we’ll definitely make time next visit. Atour Hotel Changyang Road North Bund Shanghai

Staying at the Atour Hotel in North Bund was a fantastic choice for my trip to Shanghai. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Raffle Mall and easily accessible via subway, making it convenient for exploring the area. Unlike the crowded Bund, North Bund offers a more relaxed atmosphere with beautiful views, ideal for photography without the crowds. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and excellent service. Even though the price isn’t cheap, the overall experience absolutely justifies it. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.
