Staying in this little courtyard nestled right within the Grand Canal scenic area was an absolute delight—quiet yet incredibly convenient. We checked in at 3 PM, and the host had already prepared a sweet treat, giving us time to rest before heading out as dusk fell. Right outside the door, there's Yunshuiyao serving delicious Yunnan cuisine, and just across the alley is a cozy red-themed bar that stays open late—perfect for evening vibes. Across the street, the night market buzzes with energy; wander around, grab snacks, then head back to the peaceful courtyard when you're tired. The ground floor has a spacious living area and a well-equipped bathroom, while the second-floor attic room offers plenty of room and excellent air conditioning. There’s even a tiny balcony overlooking the inner garden, where lush greenery creates a serene atmosphere. Breakfast is thoughtfully customized—one portion per guest, no waste, just fresh and satisfying. If you're driving, parking at Xiaohe Park is easy and affordable (just $50 per night), and sometimes there are outdoor concerts or local markets happening there—unexpected joys! This place truly blends comfort, charm, and local flavor. A standout stay with great value, highly recommend!

The location is incredibly convenient: after the concert at the Canal Sports Stadium, it only took about 10 minutes to walk back to the hotel. A short taxi ride also gets you to the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum in under 10 minutes, and the nearest metro station is just steps away. The staff went above and beyond—they noticed I had a minor skin abrasion and kindly offered a bandage. Staying at PI Hotel in Hangzhou was such a fun and memorable experience! Located right near Huanglong Sports Center, it’s super convenient to get around—just a short walk or quick metro ride away. The hotel is on the 15th floor with two levels, giving it a spacious and unique vibe. I loved the breakfast—huge variety, especially the dumplings and wontons, which were fresh and delicious. The room had a beautiful Japanese-style tatami design, very calming and cozy. Bonus: they offer free traditional outfits like kimonos and hanfu for guests to wear—perfect for taking cool photos with friends. We even got upgraded to a larger room, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Clean environment, great staff, and amazing atmosphere. Definitely coming back—the value is unbeatable!

The room amenities aren’t the most modern, but they’re well-maintained and feel solid and comfortable to use. Cleanliness is outstanding—every corner is spotless, no detail overlooked. There’s no flashy gimmicks here, just genuine thoughtfulness throughout. The staff are polite and quiet in their service, attentive without being intrusive, making the stay incredibly relaxing. I especially appreciated the thoughtful gesture from Manager Guo during check-out—he offered complimentary parking, which was a nice surprise. The hotel is right next to a scenic area, so exploring nearby attractions is super convenient. For travelers who value peace, comfort, and great value, this place is a standout recommendation.

Scholars Hotel (Hangzhou West Lake Wulin Square Zhejiang University)

I'd been holding onto this hotel booking for a while and was a bit unsure if the service quality would be compromised since it was a discounted deal. But from the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Before arrival, they even called to confirm my check-in time, ask about room preferences, and whether I needed transportation—so thoughtful! Upon check-in, they kindly reminded me that free late-night snacks were available at the lobby after 9:30 PM, which was such a nice surprise. After settling into my room, they followed up with a quick call to ensure everything was satisfactory. When I mentioned the air conditioner was a bit noisy, they responded immediately by sending a technician to adjust it right away—super responsive! The room itself was cozy and well-decorated, the bathroom spotless, and the breakfast spread was both delicious and varied. My partner and I had a really comfortable stay. This experience totally exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend—it’s an amazing value and definitely worth returning.

Staying at Hampton by Hilton Hangzhou Xixi Zijingang was a seamless experience from start to finish. The location is fantastic—just a one-minute walk from the metro station, making commuting around Hangzhou effortless. I especially loved the robot delivery service for meals; it’s a smart and convenient touch that adds a modern flair to the stay. The front desk staff, Ms. Liu, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by upgrading my room without hesitation—spacious, clean, and well-appointed. Invoice processing was fast and hassle-free, a big plus for business travelers. On-site amenities like the gym and laundry facilities made the trip even more comfortable. Whether you're here for work or exploring the city, this hotel delivers excellent value, comfort, and attentive service. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Hangzhou.

Jinchen Hotel (Hangzhou Huanglong Sports Center)

Staying at Jinchen Hotel (Hangzhou Huanglong Sports Center) was an absolute delight! The room was incredibly spacious, with a smart toilet that made the experience so much more convenient and modern. The bed was huge—so comfortable I had to roll over twice just to get to the other side! Perfect for a good night’s sleep. Located right near the metro station, it's super easy to get to Huanglong Sports Center or downtown Hangzhou. Great value for money, and I’ll definitely be back.

Zhejiang University Xixi Yaduo Hotel, Xihu District, Hangzhou

Staying at the Yaduo Hotel near Zhejiang University Xixi Campus was an absolutely fantastic experience. I stayed in the Jimu Room type, which came with a small fridge, making it super convenient for storing drinks or snacks. The amenities were modern and well-maintained, and I particularly loved the smart toilet in the bathroom—it worked flawlessly and added a touch of luxury. But what truly stood out was the soundproofing: the walls and door were so effective at blocking outside noise that I could sleep peacefully even during busy hours. No distant chatter, no footsteps—just complete quiet. Cleanliness was top-notch, staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall value for money was excellent. This hotel is perfect for both travelers and locals looking for comfort, convenience, and peace. I’ll definitely be back.
