A special mention goes to Mr. Wang Jingwen and Mr. Xu Shengchao from the front desk. From the moment we arrived, their friendly smiles and welcoming attitude made us feel at home. They didn’t just handle check-in efficiently — they went above and beyond by sharing local gems like authentic Northeastern cuisine, tips on visiting the Siberian tiger exhibit, and even recommended scenic running routes along the Songhua River. Their knowledge and personal touch instantly made us feel connected to the city, not just as guests but as visitors welcomed with heart. The dining team also stood out, especially Ms. Wang Jinxia. During busy mealtimes, she remained calm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her thoughtful recommendations brought each meal to life, turning every bite into a delightful experience. Our room was cozy and thoughtfully designed, offering panoramic views of the city. Staying in the Executive Lounge was a real highlight — sipping tea while gazing out at the dazzling night lights of the North Bank Ice and Snow World and the serene riverside scenery, all within walking distance of key attractions. The location couldn’t be better, and the lounge offered a peaceful retreat with a touch of elegance. Truth be told, we picked this hotel because of a friend’s strong recommendation — and now we understand why. Unlike other hotels where you’re forced to join crowded dining areas or even queue for breakfast, here everything felt calm and seamless. Even at the same price point, most properties don’t proactively explain room amenities or benefits—some guests end up missing perks because staff forget to apply them. At The Ritz-Carlton, they take care of it all upfront, which made my stay so much smoother. And then there’s David, my personal concierge—extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He recommended Sakura Terrace, a Japanese restaurant that perfectly matched my partner’s taste. The owner actually mentioned he was grateful for the recommendation from the hotel, which speaks volumes about their local partnerships. I booked through the platform because the Marriott app didn’t suit my style, but regardless of booking channel, The Ritz-Carlton remains the gold standard in luxury hospitality.
