We stayed at this hotel during our first night in Nanjing, and overall the experience was really positive. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Xinjiekou subway station, making it super convenient for exploring the city. We did have to wait a bit during check-in and check-out since there were quite a few guests, but the staff remained friendly and patient throughout. One minor issue was the hallway carpet, which had a slightly unpleasant odor due to the rain—nothing too serious, but noticeable. Our initial room was a corner room near the elevator, which we usually avoid because of potential noise and awkward layout. We mentioned our concern to the front desk, and the staff member handled it with great care and efficiency—she immediately helped us switch to another room without any hassle. Even though we originally planned to extend our stay, we ended up moving on the next day after noticing a price increase, which didn’t fit our budget. Still, the service, especially the willingness to accommodate guest needs, made a strong impression. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent hospitality and central location.

I've stayed at Qingmu Platinum Hotel multiple times, and each visit has been excellent. The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the subway station, making it easy to reach key spots like the Presidential Palace, Sichuan Restaurant, and Lüliu Ju. The staff are genuinely friendly and attentive; I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and they even provided a luggage tag for storage, which made everything so stress-free. The room itself is top-notch—comfortable, clean, and well-designed with a smart toilet and full-home control via Xiao Du. The bathroom features a perfect dry/wet separation, adding to the overall comfort. Everything feels modern, functional, and thoughtfully put together. For the price, this hotel offers exceptional value. If you're visiting Nanjing, especially near Xinjiekou, this is definitely my go-to choice. Highly recommend!

Staying at Mujiangnan Hotel was an absolute delight! Located right in the heart of Xinjiekou, it's just a short walk from the subway and minutes away from Friendship Square — perfect for shopping and exploring. The hotel feels brand new with smart, modern amenities throughout, making it stand out from the usual chain stays. Cleanliness is outstanding — no dirty corners anywhere, not even under the bed or in the bathroom. The housekeeping staff were friendly and attentive, and the front desk team? Absolutely charming — the ladies were not only beautiful but also gentle and polite, explaining check-in details with a soft voice that made me feel welcome. The mini-bar is free and stocked with great drink options — a nice surprise! Everything about this place felt thoughtfully designed. If you're visiting Nanjing, this is hands-down my top recommendation. I’ll definitely be back.

Every staff member—from check-in to housekeeping to breakfast attendants—was warm, professional, and attentive. The breakfast spread was impressive: diverse, freshly prepared, and delicious. Every time I visit Nanjing, I make sure to stay at Shangri-La—it’s simply my go-to. This trip was for a friend’s birthday, and we took the chance to explore the stunning maple leaves at Qixia Mountain, golden ginkgo trees by Xuanwu Lake, Yanyue Lake, Stone Elephant Road, and the famous plane tree avenue. Perfect timing, perfect weather, and perfect vibes! The room arranged by Manager Dong was exceptional—comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.

The Westin Nanjing Xuanwu Lake

Staying at The Westin Nanjing Xuanwu Lake was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel truly lives up to its luxury reputation, with impeccable service throughout. The restaurant on the 23rd floor offers breathtaking views of the lake and city skyline, making every meal feel like a special occasion. Every staff member I encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. A special shoutout to customer service manager Yuki (Li), who checked in with us from booking to check-out, ensuring everything went smoothly. Her dedication made a lasting impression. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a memorable retreat that I’d happily return to again and again.
