Nanjing Riverside Hotel

Staying at Nanjing Riverside Hotel was an absolute delight! The location right by the river is unbeatable—waking up to the calming view of the Yangtze River was pure bliss. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Wutai Mountain Gymnasium, making post-game plans super convenient. After the match, I even managed to grab some autographs from players at the venue before strolling back to the hotel at a relaxed pace—perfect for winding down. I’m happy to say the hotel has been upgraded since my last stay, especially the breakfast buffet, which now offers a much wider variety and far better quality than three years ago. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—they even upgraded my room without hesitation! It’s clear they care about guest experience. If I ever come back to Nanjing for another game, this will absolutely be my first choice again. A fantastic blend of convenience, comfort, and value.

The staff, particularly Dawu and Xiao Nan, went above and beyond to assist with any issues we encountered. They were proactive, friendly, and always provided clear solutions. Their dedication made a huge difference in our experience. From location to service, this hotel delivers exceptional value—definitely a top choice for future visits.

Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.
