Ribera Sur Hotel Mar del Plata

This little gem in Mar del Plata is an outstanding choice for a relaxing stay. From the moment we arrived, the warm and attentive staff made us feel right at home. The entire team—front desk, housekeeping, breakfast service—consistently delivered excellent hospitality throughout our visit. Our room was spotless: a 46-inch LED TV, a thermos with complimentary coffee and tea, a mini-fridge, and a safe. The bedding was fresh and comfortable—soft pillows, supportive mattresses, and clean linens. While the single beds are on the snug side, sleep quality was still excellent. The bathroom was well-equipped with plush towels, a hairdryer, a bidet, and a shower with strong, consistently hot water. Breakfast was a generous buffet—simple but high-quality, offering a variety of fresh options. A special thanks to Romina at reception for her genuine warmth and kindness; she truly made our stay memorable. We’ve returned here four times now, and it’s definitely going to be our go-to hotel again. Highly recommended!

Hotel Sainte Jeanne

Even though I live in Mar del Plata, I finally had the chance to visit Hotel Sainte Jeanne in person and stay for three nights with my closest friend—what a perfect getaway! The hotel is absolutely stunning, from the elegant rooms to the luxurious spa area. The indoor heated pool is a real treat—featuring multiple water jets, a jacuzzi, and even a projector for movie nights! We actually watched a film from inside the pool—so cool and unforgettable. The restaurant is fantastic—I’ve been there before and keep coming back because of the excellent food and service; they also offer a great executive lunch menu. The café is equally impressive. Everyone on staff was incredibly kind and attentive. One small suggestion: at breakfast, there’s a photo frame indicating it’s not self-service, but it’s placed in a spot that’s hard to see. When we tried to serve ourselves since no one was around, we were gently reminded it wasn’t allowed—which felt awkward, especially since we later noticed several other guests had the same experience. Also, while items like cream cheese, jam, dulce de leche, butter, and more are available, they’re not clearly displayed or mentioned, so guests might miss them entirely. That said, these are just minor improvements—not at all detracting from how exceptional the hotel truly is. I’m sharing this feedback with the best intentions, knowing such changes could make an already amazing stay even better.

Located just a short walk from the beach and close to downtown Mar del Plata, it’s perfectly positioned for both relaxation and exploring. The hotel’s classic architecture and elegant interiors instantly create a sense of timeless sophistication—warm, inviting, and far from impersonal. My check-in experience with Carla at reception was outstanding: professional, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. She didn’t just handle my paperwork—she anticipated needs, offered helpful suggestions, and made me feel like a valued guest right away. The room itself was spotless, beautifully furnished, and packed with modern comforts. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept so well that I woke up refreshed every morning. What truly sets this place apart is the staff—their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help shine through in every interaction. From the bellhop to the housekeeping team, everyone goes the extra mile without making it feel forced. It’s clear they take pride in delivering exceptional service. Whether you're here for business or leisure, Hermitage offers a peaceful retreat where tradition meets comfort. It’s not just a hotel—it’s an experience. Hotel Spa Republica

This was my first stay at Hotel Spa Republica, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I arrived, every staff member went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service across all departments—front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and breakfast—was exceptional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The spa facilities are top-notch: the sauna is relaxing, and the pool area feels like a true retreat. I highly recommend Gabriela for her fangotherapy session and Paula for her deep-relaxing massage—both were rejuvenating and professionally done. The room was spotless every day, and the breakfast spread was delicious and varied. Valet parking staff were courteous and efficient, making it easy to leave the car in safe hands. Hotel Tronador

I've stayed at Hotel Tronador before and I'm back again—definitely a place worth returning to. The service is excellent, and the facilities are top-notch. The pool area is fantastic—calm, inviting, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. It's one of the main reasons I keep coming back; it really delivers on tranquility. Breakfast is solid, though I did notice it seemed slightly smaller in portion size compared to my previous visit. Still, the quality remains strong. Staff are attentive and friendly throughout the stay. One small note: the parking space provided isn't very spacious, especially if you're driving a larger vehicle. But honestly, that minor issue doesn't take away from the overall experience. Great value, great location, and a peaceful retreat—highly recommend for anyone visiting Mar del Plata.

Hotel Las Rocas

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight. I booked a Single Executive room—compact but perfectly equipped with everything I needed. The balcony was stunning, offering breathtaking views that made every moment feel special. Staff were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout my stay. I made use of the spa facilities, which, while modest in size, were highly enjoyable—the sauna, Scottish shower, and heated pool were all relaxing and well-maintained. Location couldn’t be better; it’s within easy reach of everything I wanted to explore. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent, making it a great value for money. One small suggestion: adding a power outlet near the bedside tables would make charging devices much more convenient. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely be returning.

Bristol Apart Hotel

I've stayed at Bristol Apart Hotel seven times over the past seven years, and I keep coming back because it's just perfect for me. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the beach and super convenient for exploring downtown Mar del Plata. Everything else is excellent: clean rooms, friendly staff, and great value for the price. A few small things could be improved though. The hot water gets scalding instantly—there’s no way to cool it down once it’s on, so installing a thermostatic mixer would help avoid accidents. Also, the bathroom floors are slippery, so adding rubber mats would prevent falls. Lastly, the kitchen is missing some essentials like a hairdryer, iron, cutting boards, and serving dishes—adding these would make it even better. But honestly, these are minor issues. The overall experience is fantastic, and I’ll definitely return again next year.
