The room was immaculate, thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Dining options were plentiful and of high quality, with breakfast and dinner both delivering excellent taste and presentation. But what truly stood out was the service. Every staff member was attentive, polite, and genuinely caring. They even surprised me with a small thoughtful gift—such a nice touch. Special mention to Mike Zhang (Zhang Xinggang), whose professionalism, kindness, and genuine warmth left a lasting impression. He made me feel seen and valued throughout my visit. Overall, the hotel excels in every aspect—location, facilities, cleanliness, and hospitality. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s an experience. Nearby attractions like Yue Wang Temple and Gushan Island are easily accessible, making it ideal for exploring the area. The service here is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional. I appreciated the complimentary parking, though I did note the local odd-even license plate restrictions, so plan accordingly if driving. Rooms are immaculate, spotless, and beautifully designed with modern comforts. It’s worth mentioning that this property was formerly known as Hangzhou Hotel, a historic landmark on Beishan Road, now revitalized under the Shangri-La brand—a perfect blend of heritage and world-class hospitality. With great value for money and such a prime location, this is one of the best stays in Hangzhou I’ve experienced.

During New Year’s holiday, when ride-sharing and buses were restricted near the scenic area, the hotel arranged a shuttle to drop us off right at the entrance, which was incredibly convenient. Everything was seamless and well-organized. This place isn’t just comfortable — it’s truly special. A perfect blend of tranquility, luxury, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning.

Sunday Sunny Resort

This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! Located on the 26th floor of Qianjiang Times Plaza, it's incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the metro and downtown attractions. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was so welcoming they upgraded me to a Premium Deluxe King room at no extra cost—huge space, very comfortable, and the best part? It comes with a washer and dryer right in the room. Even better, the complimentary toiletries include laundry detergent—such a thoughtful touch! Breakfast is served at a restaurant in the underground food plaza, where you get vouchers to pick your own dishes. There’s a wide variety of options, and everything is delicious. You can enjoy a full meal for under $20—truly great value. I’ll definitely be back!

Location-wise, it’s perfect: just a short walk to West Lake, Hefang Street, and all the local hotspots. What truly stood out? Returning late at night to find a warm bowl of congee and some light snacks waiting for me. In the middle of winter, that simple gesture brought such a cozy, heartwarming feeling. The hotel also has a full laundry service with both washing and drying machines—plus, they’ll even collect your clothes when you’re out, which is seriously thoughtful. The only tiny hiccup? The TV wouldn’t turn on, and the remote seemed unresponsive. But if you don’t rely on TV, it’s not a dealbreaker—just ask the front desk for help. Overall, this place offers incredible value, comfort, and genuine hospitality. I’d happily come back in a heartbeat.

Veegle By Landison Hotel Hangzhou Qianjiang New City

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations! Located just steps away from Qianjiang New City Metro Station, it’s incredibly convenient for both business and leisure travelers. I came here specifically for a work meeting, and the Wi-Fi performance was outstanding—fast, stable, and perfect for video calls without any lag. The front desk manager even personally walked me to my room to test the connection, which showed how genuinely attentive they are. They also mentioned an upcoming network upgrade, but even before that, the speed was already impressive. Bonus: my room was upgraded for free—a nice surprise! Staff were friendly, helpful, and proactive throughout my entire stay. One minor note: parking is limited and not included unless you're staying overnight. Since I didn’t stay the night, I didn’t pay, but friends who rented cars and stayed overnight had to cover the cost. Still, this doesn’t take away from the overall excellent experience. For great value, top-notch service, and reliable connectivity, I’d definitely recommend this hotel—and I’ll be back.
