Mansion 1903 Hotel

Staying at this beautifully designed Russian-style hotel was a dream come true. The ambiance is absolutely stunning—perfect for photos, and the spacious bathroom made soaking in a warm bath incredibly relaxing. We happened to be here during Christmas, and the decorations created such a magical atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Breakfast included turkey, and the kids were thrilled with their little snowman gifts. Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony—such a thoughtful touch! The kids could play in the snow outside, then quickly warm up inside when needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and even helped capture some amazing family photos that truly felt like a fairytale. It was such a special experience, especially for the children. I can’t wait to come back—it’s definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Harbin.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help throughout our stay. Whenever we needed anything, they responded immediately—no delays, no hesitation. We were especially touched when they upgraded us to a larger, warmer room on a higher floor, even though it was cold during winter; the upgrade was completely free and made a big difference in comfort. The location is fantastic—just steps away from Central Street, Saint Sophia Cathedral, and other major attractions. Everything is walkable or easily accessible by public transit. This place truly feels like home away from home. If you're visiting Harbin, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough—it’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and heartfelt service.

HJJLAN Hotel (Harbin University of Technology)

This was my second visit to Harbin, and staying at HJJLAN Hotel (Harbin University of Technology) made a huge difference compared to my previous trip. The hotel environment is clean, modern, and peaceful—perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring. Our room was surprisingly spacious with a comfortable layout, offering great value for the price. Breakfast options were limited but covered the basics: fresh bread, eggs, porridge, fruit, and coffee—enough to start the day right. What stood out most was the front desk staff—they were incredibly friendly, proactive, and helpful, even offering local tips and directions. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 10–15 minute walk or short ride to Central Street, the Songhua River, and Harbin Railway Station. Everything I wanted to see was within easy reach. The overall experience was seamless and highly enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning here on my next trip to Harbin—highly recommend!

Staying at Hampton by Hilton Harbin Daoli was an absolutely fantastic experience—so much so that I’ll definitely be booking again. The hotel is immaculately clean, and the soundproofing works really well; I barely heard any noise from neighboring rooms or the hallway. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—just a short subway ride to downtown, and if you’re driving, parking is ample and hassle-free. There are plenty of dining options right outside the door, making mealtime easy and enjoyable. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly—the room service responded quickly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was a highlight: a great mix of Western and local dishes, fresh, tasty, and plentiful. The nearby business center pool was a real bonus—clean, modern, and refreshing. I especially loved the bathroom design with a separate dry area—very practical and well thought out. And just like the photos, the room looked exactly as advertised—no surprises, no disappointment. Everything about this stay exceeded expectations. If you’re visiting Harbin, this hotel is a top pick.

The room was spotless and beautifully maintained—every detail felt thoughtfully curated. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, so much so that I didn’t want to get out of bed. From the moment I walked in to the time I checked out, the service was attentive and genuine, creating a truly homely atmosphere. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, offering a great variety of options. What stood out most was the incredible value for money—excellent quality without the premium price tag. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Harbin.

I had a fantastic stay at Huajiantang Hotel near Harbin's Zhongyang Street Pedestrian Zone and the Chinese-Baroque Block Station. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive—they went above and beyond to understand my needs and offered helpful suggestions without ever seeming rushed. Their professionalism and warmth made a real difference in my experience. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable—right next to the metro station, making it super easy to explore the historic Chinese-Baroque architecture, local eateries, and nearby attractions on foot. The value for money is excellent for the area. That said, I did notice there was no breakfast included, which is something many travelers appreciate, especially when staying in a city with so much to discover. It’s understandable from a cost-management perspective, but it does leave a small gap in the guest experience. Also, the TV didn’t sync with live programming, which was a bit of a letdown if you’re hoping to catch up on news or shows in real time. Overall, though, this hotel stands out for its excellent service, convenient location, and clean, comfortable rooms. Definitely a top pick for visitors wanting to enjoy downtown Harbin with ease.

Harbin Huarong Hotel (Harbin Railway Station Museum Subway Station Branch)

After getting off the train, I took the subway straight to Museum Station and walked out to see Harbin Huarong Hotel right there—such a convenient location! Even though the hotel’s facilities are a bit dated, the transportation links are unbeatable. Both Line 1 and Line 2 are just steps away, making it super easy to reach Central Street and the Ice and Snow World. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable, with a great view of Harbin’s bustling city life through the window—especially beautiful at night when the lights come on. It’s a perfect base for exploring the city without hassle. Great value for money, and I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Harbin.

Staying here for four nights was a fantastic experience overall. The hotel is located right on the west side of Harbin Railway Station's North Square, just a 3-4 minute walk from the main north entrance—perfectly positioned for both train and bus travel. Public transportation options are excellent: the bus terminal is just across the street, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the nearest subway station (though it does take about 10 minutes). I appreciated how convenient it was for day trips to Yabuli Ski Resort or Xuexiang. While there’s a bit of noise from the railway tracks on one side, the surrounding area remains quiet and safe—there’s even a police station directly opposite the front door, which also serves as an exit point from the station, though signage could be clearer. The room itself isn’t huge, but it comfortably fit one large suitcase and one medium-sized bag. Everything was clean, with soft, fresh bedding and a well-designed bathroom featuring a dry/wet separation and a smart toilet. The hotel is relatively new (opened within the last two years), so everything feels modern and well-maintained. Air conditioning and underfloor heating kept the room comfortable year-round. In the lobby, free tea service and self-service laundry were thoughtful touches. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and when my flight was delayed, the front desk kindly allowed me to check out later—excellent service! Special mention goes to Miss Zhong at reception—friendly, polite, and always ready to help. This place offers incredible value for money. If I ever return to Harbin, this will be my top choice.

Staying at Huayuancun Guobinguan was an absolute highlight of my trip to Harbin. I didn’t book breakfast, so I missed out on trying the hotel’s restaurant offerings, but I did pick up some local treats from the on-site shop—delicious and perfect as souvenirs. Everything about this place feels thoughtfully designed, from the quiet ambiance to the attention to detail. It’s a hidden gem with excellent value for money, and I’d definitely come back without hesitation.

Qingqiu Hotel (Harbin Railway Station Yiyuan Hospital)

Staying at Qingqiu Hotel was by far the best part of our trip to Harbin. The location is super convenient—just a short walk from Harbin Railway Station and close to Yiyuan Hospital, making everything easy to access. The room itself was clean and well-designed, with a smart wet/dry separation in the bathroom that made showering so much more comfortable. The showerhead had strong water pressure and consistent temperature—perfect for unwinding after a long day. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the amenities: the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were excellent, so good that we didn’t even need to use our own. Breakfast was generous and varied—great mix of local and Western options, always fresh and tasty. We stayed two nights and enjoyed complete quiet throughout—no noise from other guests or hallway disturbances, which made for deep, restful sleep. Bonus points for the in-room laundry machine and dryer—super helpful for longer stays. (Though we did notice a few guests accidentally tossing socks or insoles into the washer—small reminder about proper sorting!) Staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. If we ever return to Harbin, this hotel will definitely be our first choice.
