If you're heading to Shanghai Stadium or Sports Arena for a concert, it's only one stop on the metro—or even easier, a short walk or bike ride away. This A.T.HOUSE property has that modern art vibe I love. The second-floor afternoon tea lounge and late-night dining spot are both stylish and inviting. The pastries are delicious, and the chicken soup wontons as well as the pork-filled dumplings are seriously satisfying. I was originally booked into a room type that wasn’t available yet, but the team kindly upgraded me to a Premium Suite—huge upgrade in space, view, and design. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. I ordered fresh fruit platters after my concert, and they arrived at my door in no time. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the service throughout was top-notch. Even at check-out, they handed me a lovely souvenir—a large record-shaped biscuit box that’s both cute and tasty. If there’s another concert in town, this will be my go-to hotel again.

That kind of personal touch is rare. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—huge variety, beautifully presented. From freshly steamed dim sum and handmade noodles to a wide selection of breads, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, and even ice cream, every detail was thoughtfully curated. Staying at The Kunlun Jing An in Shanghai was an absolute highlight, especially since we needed a quiet hotel close to the exam venue for my child. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the testing center and well-connected by metro. We requested a quiet room in advance, and the hotel not only accommodated it but exceeded expectations with total attention to detail. The room was peaceful, spotless, and cleaned promptly each day. The housekeeping staff were warm, attentive, and always checking in to see if we needed anything—truly personalized service. One of the standout experiences was the 38th-floor lounge: breathtaking views, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service. Their afternoon tea was delicious, making it perfect for relaxing or even informal business meetings. Every aspect of this stay felt thoughtfully curated. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and exceptional hospitality in Shanghai, this is the place. I’ll definitely be returning.
