I recently stayed at Yueji Apartment (Guilin Hi-Tech Wanda Plaza) for the second time, and I’m thrilled to say it exceeded my expectations once again. The room was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and offered a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. Its location is unbeatable—right next to a lively local food street and just steps from Wanda Plaza, making dining, shopping, and exploring incredibly convenient. Public transit access to the city center is also quick and easy. While everything else was excellent, I did notice that the door security chain was broken and temporarily repaired with a plastic tie—it’s functional, but it does take away a bit of peace of mind. A simple upgrade to a metal chain would make a big difference in guest confidence. Despite this small issue, the overall experience was outstanding. With its great value, cleanliness, and central location, I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to Guilin.

The staff were incredibly responsive and helpful with every question, and they even held our room when we decided to extend our stay. Super friendly, professional, and thoughtful. We stayed at Guilin Yunduo Homestay (Wanxiangcheng) with our elderly family members and young kids during our trip to Guilin, and it was an excellent choice. There’s a bus stop right downstairs, and taxis are readily available for getting around the city. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, with all the essentials: a bathtub, fridge, smart toilet, washing machine, and microwave. Even though it’s compact, it feels like a mini home with everything you need. The value for money is outstanding—no extra cost, but a comfortable, hassle-free stay. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Guilin, especially families traveling with older relatives or little ones.
Chengyue Homestay
We booked a three-bedroom apartment for our family of five, but due to an unexpected situation, the host proactively contacted us and arranged two separate suites instead—such thoughtful flexibility! Following the clear video and photo instructions from the host, we took a taxi straight to the location. The complex was easy to find, and there were plenty of restaurants and local eateries right outside, making daily life super convenient. Both suites were spacious, beautifully decorated with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The mattresses struck the perfect balance in firmness—very comfortable for a good night’s sleep. Cleanliness was excellent, and even provided disposable bath towels, which showed great attention to detail. This was actually our second stay at this homestay, and it lived up to the high standard we remembered. Although check-in was a bit late and there was a small hiccup, the host responded quickly and handled everything smoothly. One downside: my room was on the third floor facing the street, so there was some noise from traffic at night—but since I sleep deeply, I managed fine. The other suite had a quieter orientation, ideal for those who value peace. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for larger groups looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine hospitality.
