Staying at Boavista Eco-Luxury House was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled just outside Porto, the villa offers a perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility—peaceful yet only minutes away from the city’s charm. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by elegant, thoughtfully designed interiors that exude warmth and sophistication. The main bedroom is spacious and beautifully appointed, with a standout bathroom featuring natural stone finishes and a relaxing ambiance. The staff were incredibly welcoming—especially the woman who served breakfast, whose friendly demeanor and personal touch made the morning even more special. This isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a true retreat. Highly recommend for couples or anyone seeking a romantic, nature-inspired escape with top-tier comfort and attention to detail.
Staying at Mayor's Apartments in Porto was an absolute delight. The building is beautifully restored, with three floors and a convenient elevator—just four steps to reach the top floor. Located in Zone 1, right in the heart of the historic city center, it’s just a short walk from the iconic Clerigos Tower. Our host Pedro was incredibly proactive and always ready to help with any request. The second-floor apartment was modern, spotless, and smelled fresh—perfect for a comfortable stay. It featured a spacious living area with a kitchenette and sofa bed, a cozy double bedroom, and a stunning marble bathroom with a generously sized shower (though the tile flooring could be slightly slippery at times). Furniture was high-quality, and linens and towels were provided—excellent attention to detail. One small suggestion: having a bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival would make guests feel even more welcomed. If arriving by car, avoid the underground garage at Jardim de Cordoaria—it’s expensive at around €80 per day. Instead, head to CC Bombarda/Parquet do Carregal, only about a 10-minute walk away, where parking costs just €15 daily and is covered and open 24/7. Just note that payment must be in cash. Overall, if you're looking for a central, stylish, and well-located place to stay in Porto, this apartment complex is a top choice. Highly recommended!
My stay at Boavista Villa Guesthouse was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, Carla made me feel welcome with her warm and genuine hospitality. The room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly comfortable—especially the bed, which offered the perfect balance of support and softness for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, delicious, and well-curated with local touches that added authenticity to the experience. The hotel is perfectly located near the metro, putting me just minutes away from all the charm of Porto’s vibrant neighborhoods. It’s quiet yet convenient, blending modern comfort with traditional Portuguese character. I couldn’t have asked for more—this place truly feels like home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic, and beautifully managed stay in Porto.
This art deco apartment in the heart of Porto is perfect for both short business trips and longer stays. Everything you need is here—fast Wi-Fi, spotless cleanliness, and climate control that works flawlessly whether you're warming up in winter or cooling down in summer. The staff goes above and beyond with their friendly, five-star service. It’s quiet and peaceful, making it a true retreat after a busy day exploring the city. Being centrally located means you can walk to most attractions, and public transport—including metro and bus lines—is just steps away. For such excellent quality, location, and comfort, the price is completely fair. A standout choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient, and well-priced place to stay in Porto.
I arrived at the hotel as scheduled, only to find another guest had booked the same room during my exact dates—two people with identical reservations. I was stranded in Portugal during August, left with no place to stay. It cost me a fortune just to extend my stay while trying to sort out this scam, and in the end, I got absolutely nothing in return. This is a textbook case of fraud—an outright rip-off. The entire experience was terrible, from check-in to resolution. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone, especially not during peak season. Despite its convenient location near the metro and city center, the lack of basic booking integrity makes it a complete disaster. Avoid at all costs.
I absolutely loved this hotel—it truly captures the perfect vibe for a memorable stay in Porto. Located just steps away from all the top attractions, I was able to explore the historic city center, riverside views along the Douro River, and iconic sites like São Bento Church without needing any transport. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with a cozy, bookish charm that makes you want to stay in and read all day. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer local tips. From the warm welcome to the attention to detail, every aspect felt personal and genuine. If you're looking for a peaceful yet central retreat in Porto, this is it. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic, stress-free experience.
Our 3-night stay at Torel Avantgarde in Porto was absolutely unforgettable! The location is perfect—just a short walk from Ribeira Square, the viewing platforms, and the famous Douro River bridges. Each room has a unique theme, making the experience feel fresh and artistic. The hotel’s modern design is incredibly photogenic—every corner is a great spot for pictures. While breakfast options were limited, everything was fresh, delicious, and satisfying. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, with smart, stylish uniforms that added to the overall vibe. We appreciated the detailed explanations about the facilities like the outdoor pool and sauna—even though we didn’t get to use them, it was nice to know they were available. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was warm and efficient. If we ever return to Porto, this will be our first choice. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable stay!
Staying at Vila Foz Hotel & Spa was an absolute delight. The view from the hotel is breathtaking—overlooking the city of Porto with stunning sunsets that make every evening magical. The service here is exceptional, with staff who are attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. From check-in to recommendations on local spots, they made us feel truly welcome. Located just a short walk or quick metro ride from the city center, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring everything Porto has to offer. With its elegant design, peaceful ambiance, and top-notch amenities, this place offers incredible value. I’d highly recommend it—and I’ll definitely be back.
My stay at the Sheraton Porto Hotel & Spa was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a restful night's sleep. The staff at the front desk were warm and attentive—always ready to help with anything I needed, from recommendations to travel tips. Breakfast was a highlight: a wide variety of fresh, delicious options, including local favorites like freshly baked pastries and traditional Portuguese coffee. The hotel’s location is perfect—just a short walk or quick metro ride to the city center, making exploring Porto effortless. Everything about this experience exceeded my expectations. I’ll definitely be back!
Staying at Crowne Plaza Porto was an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and professional service from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing was outstanding—completely silent, even during busy hours. It felt like having a private retreat in the heart of the city. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the metro and downtown attractions. Everything was clean, modern, and well-maintained. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto—excellent value, great ambiance, and a truly relaxing stay.
Staying at Porto Palácio Hotel by The Editory for two nights was a delightful experience. Located just steps from the city center, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Porto—walking to major attractions is easy and enjoyable. The breakfast buffet stood out with its wide variety of options and fresh, freshly squeezed juices. That said, expect a short wait in the morning around 8:30 AM as it gets busy quickly. One highlight? They included a complimentary pass to the rooftop bar—perfect for unwinding with a drink while enjoying panoramic views of the city at sunset. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for comfort, with no major flaws. The bathroom had modern fixtures and plenty of hot water. I especially appreciated the free work area in the lobby—it made handling some last-minute business tasks seamless. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, combining convenience, thoughtful touches, and a relaxed vibe. It’s ideal for travelers who want a quiet base without compromising on quality or location.
I booked a room with a view of the church, and it just happened to face east—waking up to two consecutive sunrise views was absolutely worth every penny I paid for the upgrade at check-in. The staff went above and beyond with their warm smiles and genuine hospitality, making the entire stay feel personal and welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy the pool or sauna this time around, but that only makes me want to come back. This hotel has already earned a permanent spot in my travel plans—definitely returning to Porto and staying here again.
