Staying at Polis Grand Hotel was an absolute highlight of my trip to Athens! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center and even closer to the Acropolis. I especially loved my room with the private balcony; waking up to views of the ancient citadel was magical. The rooftop restaurant is a real gem—elegant, relaxing, and the view is unbeatable. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and while the facilities aren’t flashy, they’re functional and in great condition. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. It’s rare to find such a peaceful, well-run hotel in the heart of a bustling city. This place truly delivers on comfort, charm, and value. I’d happily come back again without hesitation.
Staying at Athens 1890 Hotel & Spa was a really pleasant experience. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Athens, just a short walk from major sights and public transit. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a calm, elegant vibe. Even though it’s housed within a building called Noma, which made the address a bit confusing at first, once you're inside, everything feels seamless. The room was comfortable with all the essentials working perfectly—air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, and good lighting. Room service was prompt and reliable. One small hiccup: breakfast was served at a separate restaurant next door, which initially didn’t recognize my included breakfast voucher. After showing my reservation, they were happy to accommodate me. Staff were friendly and helpful overall, though not everyone spoke English—still, basic communication worked fine with gestures or simple phrases. All things considered, this place offers great value, great location, and a peaceful atmosphere. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a quiet, stylish base in Athens.
Our stay in Athens was absolutely delightful thanks to the comfort and hospitality at International Atene Hotel. The room was always spotless and neatly organized—every time we returned, it felt like a fresh start. Special shoutout to Bless, our housekeeper, who went above and beyond with her attention to detail and warm demeanor. The breakfast buffet was generous and featured authentic Greek flavors—fresh local cheeses, homemade honey, and freshly baked pastries made it a true treat. We especially appreciated the friendly and welcoming service in the dining area, particularly a young staff member (we didn’t catch her name) whose cheerful attitude and helpful nature brightened our mornings. From check-in to checkout, every interaction reflected genuine care. This hotel stands out for its excellent service, cleanliness, and cozy vibe. If we ever return to Athens, this will be our first choice. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience!
The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from major attractions and easily accessible by metro. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a nice touch of local charm. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and friendly service—always smiling, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. Clean, quiet, and well-maintained throughout, this place truly delivers on every level. If you're looking for a great stay in Athens that combines convenience, comfort, and hospitality, this is it. Highly recommended!
Staying at Snob Athens in the heart of Athens was an absolute delight! The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from major attractions and public transit, making exploring the city so convenient. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, especially the lounge area with its chic bar and hidden little garden—perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations or just a friendly smile. Rooms were spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. It’s rare to find such a high level of quality and hospitality in a central location—this place truly stands out. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
Staying at the Acropolis View Luxury Suite was an absolute delight. The view of the Acropolis lit up at night was breathtaking—my kids were mesmerized, and I couldn’t stop taking photos. The apartment itself was cozy, well-designed, and spotlessly clean. It felt like a home away from home, with just the right balance of space and comfort. The location is perfect—close to public transit and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. What really stood out was the thoughtful touches: fresh bread and water waiting for us upon arrival, and the airport transfer service was seamless and reliable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth. Overall, this was one of the best accommodations I’ve ever experienced in Athens. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city—worth every penny!
Arriving in Athens late due to a Ryanair flight that was, as usual, delayed, we got in at 7:45 PM. Even though I had already informed the property from Italy about our expected delay, they refused entry with our luggage—claiming they strictly close at 8:00 PM. No flexibility whatsoever, not even a 15-minute wait. We called to clarify and were met with rude responses, denied a refund for our booking, and falsely told the room had already been given to another guest. The lack of basic hospitality and transparency is unacceptable. While the platform made the reservation easy, the on-site experience was extremely disappointing. I’d strongly advise travelers to avoid this property—poor service, no empathy, and definitely not worth the price.
Staying at the Athenaeum InterContinental in Athens was a delightful experience. The hotel has its own parking facility, which made arriving and leaving so convenient—no stress about finding a spot nearby. My room faced the pool, offering a serene view that made mornings feel peaceful and refreshing. As expected from an InterContinental property, the quality was excellent—attention to detail, luxurious amenities, and impeccable service throughout. I spent two nights here and found the location quiet but still within reach of the city’s charm. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the Acropolis, which gave me a chance to explore the streets and soak in the local atmosphere along the way. While the immediate surroundings aren’t bustling, the presence of a nearby police station added a sense of security that made me feel comfortable walking around. Overall, this stay was fantastic—great value, outstanding comfort, and a memorable base for exploring Athens.
Staying at Wyndham Grand Athens was an absolute highlight of my trip to Athens. The room was spacious and well-appointed, offering plenty of comfort for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the location—just a 10-15 minute walk from the Acropolis and nearby museums, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. I especially loved the rooftop terrace on the 9th floor, which offered breathtaking views of the Acropolis, perfect for sunset moments. The breakfast spread was outstanding—diverse, fresh, and high-quality, definitely matching the hotel’s premium standards. Everything about this stay felt seamless and luxurious. If you're visiting Athens, this is the kind of place that makes your trip unforgettable. Highly recommended!
Absolutely stunning from the moment we walked in! The Dolli at Acropolis is a true gem in Athens — the pink Christmas decor in the lobby looks like something out of a fairytale, and it’s perfect for photos. The breakfast was exceptional: fresh fruits, crisp vegetables, and wow — the dragon fruit was actually sweet! So many delicious options, and I couldn’t stop going back for seconds. The free desserts in the lobby were a delightful surprise — handmade, rich, and absolutely worth the extra trip. Staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Located just a short walk from the Acropolis, it’s super convenient for exploring the city. We’ve never stayed somewhere this beautiful with such a great balance of comfort, style, and value. Highly recommend — I’ll be back!
I stayed for seven nights and still couldn’t stop praising this hotel! Its location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Acropolis, making sightseeing so convenient. One of the coolest features is the ancient Athenian stones displayed in the basement area; it gives you a real sense of history the moment you step inside. The breakfast was exceptional—plenty of variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious local touches that made every morning special. The hotel recommends a nearby parking lot, but if you’re lucky enough to find a spot on the surrounding streets, it’s completely free. That said, those spots are hard to come by, so I’d suggest booking the recommended parking in advance to avoid stress. Overall, the comfort, service, and location make this place an absolute gem. I’d definitely stay here again when I return to Athens.
This stunning hotel is just a short walk from the Acropolis and Plaka, making it an ideal base for exploring Athens. The modern design stands out with high ceilings that create a spacious, airy feel throughout the property. The breakfast buffet is exceptional—fresh, diverse, and delicious. Every detail, from the smart room features to the welcoming staff, makes this stay truly memorable. I’ve already marked it as a must-return destination on my next trip to Athens.
