Absolutely stunning from the moment we walked in! The Dolli at Acropolis is a true gem in Athens — the pink Christmas decor in the lobby looks like something out of a fairytale, and it’s perfect for photos. The breakfast was exceptional: fresh fruits, crisp vegetables, and wow — the dragon fruit was actually sweet! So many delicious options, and I couldn’t stop going back for seconds. The free desserts in the lobby were a delightful surprise — handmade, rich, and absolutely worth the extra trip. Staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Located just a short walk from the Acropolis, it’s super convenient for exploring the city. We’ve never stayed somewhere this beautiful with such a great balance of comfort, style, and value. Highly recommend — I’ll be back!
The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our stay feel truly special. The breakfast was delicious and well-balanced, with a great variety of fresh options to start the day right. Located just steps away from downtown Athens, we had easy access to all the major sights—walking to the Acropolis or Plaka was a breeze. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and charm. I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Athens, whether it’s for sightseeing, relaxation, or a quick getaway.
The Athens Tiare by Mage Hotels is a solid choice if you're just passing through for a business trip. It's located a short walk from Constitution Square, about 1.5 km from the X95 bus stop at the airport—easy to navigate if you're familiar with the area. While not right in the heart of the city center, it’s conveniently positioned and very manageable on foot. The room itself is clean, functional, and well-maintained—nothing flashy or luxurious, but exactly what you'd expect for a no-frills stay. It offers good value for money, especially when you consider the location and comfort level. If you're looking for something more upscale, this might not be your ideal pick, but for a quick overnight stop during a work trip, it delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, reliable base without any surprises.
Staying at Luwian Athens Boutique Hotel was a real highlight of my trip to Athens. After experiencing several boutique hotels, I can confidently say this one stands out. The room was thoughtfully equipped with slippers, shampoo, conditioner, and even complimentary bottled water—small touches that made a big difference. What truly impressed me was the breakfast grab-and-go pack offered for early morning travelers. It was so convenient, especially when rushing to catch a flight. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and overall atmosphere made this stay feel personal and special. I’ve stayed in many boutique properties before, but none have left me feeling quite as cared for. This place is more than just a hotel—it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.
Absolutely worth the rave! This was by far the best value accommodation we’ve had on this trip. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to both the Acropolis Museum and the metro station, and only about 10 minutes on foot to the Acropolis itself. Waking up to views of the Acropolis during morning runs or evening strolls? Pure magic. There’s also a great selection of restaurants and shops right outside, including Opos—a popular local eatery just across the street. The apartment matched the photos exactly: two separate bedrooms (one with twin beds, the other with a king), a spacious living-dining area, two bathrooms, and two balconies. Plus, the sofa bed in the living room easily accommodated another adult—perfect for families or friends traveling together. If you booked two standard hotel rooms, you’d be paying double what we paid for this entire apartment. Heating worked perfectly every night, and despite being near the street, the soundproofing kept everything quiet and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive—they sent multiple follow-up emails in English to confirm our arrival details, which was very thoughtful. One thing to note: there’s no front desk service. Check-in isn’t until noon, so if you arrive earlier, the building will be completely empty. We showed up early hoping to drop off luggage at the front desk, but no one was around. We ended up leaving our bags with an elderly gentleman at a nearby café who kindly helped us out. No cleaning service either—no need to tip, and breakfast isn’t included, but there are plenty of cafes near the museum serving delicious morning options. Overall, an exceptional stay—comfortable, convenient, and full of charm. Highly recommended!
Staying at Lotus Inn in Athens was a great experience overall. The room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly spacious for the price—definitely comfortable for a short stay. What stood out most was the location: right next to a metro station, making it super easy to explore the city without needing to rely on taxis or long walks. There’s also a convenience store just outside the door, which is incredibly handy for grabbing snacks or essentials late at night. The only minor downside is that sound insulation between floors isn’t perfect—occasional footsteps from neighbors can be heard, but it’s not disruptive enough to ruin the stay. Considering the affordability, central location, and overall comfort, this place offers excellent value. I’d definitely recommend it for travelers who want a quiet, convenient base while exploring Athens.
Staying at the Athenaeum InterContinental in Athens was a delightful experience. The hotel has its own parking facility, which made arriving and leaving so convenient—no stress about finding a spot nearby. My room faced the pool, offering a serene view that made mornings feel peaceful and refreshing. As expected from an InterContinental property, the quality was excellent—attention to detail, luxurious amenities, and impeccable service throughout. I spent two nights here and found the location quiet but still within reach of the city’s charm. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the Acropolis, which gave me a chance to explore the streets and soak in the local atmosphere along the way. While the immediate surroundings aren’t bustling, the presence of a nearby police station added a sense of security that made me feel comfortable walking around. Overall, this stay was fantastic—great value, outstanding comfort, and a memorable base for exploring Athens.
Staying at Wyndham Grand Athens was an absolute highlight of my trip to Athens. The room was spacious and well-appointed, offering plenty of comfort for a relaxing stay. What truly stood out was the location—just a 10-15 minute walk from the Acropolis and nearby museums, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. I especially loved the rooftop terrace on the 9th floor, which offered breathtaking views of the Acropolis, perfect for sunset moments. The breakfast spread was outstanding—diverse, fresh, and high-quality, definitely matching the hotel’s premium standards. Everything about this stay felt seamless and luxurious. If you're visiting Athens, this is the kind of place that makes your trip unforgettable. Highly recommended!
I stayed for seven nights and still couldn’t stop praising this hotel! Its location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Acropolis, making sightseeing so convenient. One of the coolest features is the ancient Athenian stones displayed in the basement area; it gives you a real sense of history the moment you step inside. The breakfast was exceptional—plenty of variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious local touches that made every morning special. The hotel recommends a nearby parking lot, but if you’re lucky enough to find a spot on the surrounding streets, it’s completely free. That said, those spots are hard to come by, so I’d suggest booking the recommended parking in advance to avoid stress. Overall, the comfort, service, and location make this place an absolute gem. I’d definitely stay here again when I return to Athens.
This stunning hotel is just a short walk from the Acropolis and Plaka, making it an ideal base for exploring Athens. The modern design stands out with high ceilings that create a spacious, airy feel throughout the property. The breakfast buffet is exceptional—fresh, diverse, and delicious. Every detail, from the smart room features to the welcoming staff, makes this stay truly memorable. I’ve already marked it as a must-return destination on my next trip to Athens.
Staying at Grand Hyatt Athens was an absolute delight. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. While it's a bit outside the city center, public transportation makes getting to major attractions super easy. The rooftop pool and viewing deck are truly a highlight—breathtaking views of Athens stretch out in every direction. It's the ideal spot to enjoy sunset with a drink in hand. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, and the service is top-notch. A fantastic choice for travelers who value both comfort and scenery.
Staying at Coco-Mat Athens BC was an absolute delight, especially given how perfectly located it is. Just a 5-minute walk from the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis itself, and you're also within easy reach of Plaka, Constitution Square, and the National Garden. The ground floor is bustling with local restaurants, charming boutiques, and even a quaint newsstand-style grocery store—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials on the go. The room is modest in size but impeccably clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The bedding was comfortable, and the toiletries were high-quality and refreshing. Breakfast was a real highlight—plenty of variety with authentic Greek specialties like fresh pastries, local cheeses, and delicious homemade jams. It felt like a true taste of Greece every morning. Overall, this hotel offers incredible value, great location, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’d happily return again without hesitation.
