This hotel exceeded all my expectations! Located just a short walk from South Asia Style Garden, it's incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable—woke up feeling completely refreshed. Staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to assist with transportation arrangements. What really stood out was the incredible value for money. For such a clean, well-located, and welcoming place, the price is unbeatable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to anyone visiting Kunming.

While there aren’t many dining options right around the property, it’s only a 10-15 minute walk to the 1903 Park area, where you’ll find plenty of great local food choices. What really stood out was the host—so friendly and responsive! When I noticed the washing machine didn’t have laundry detergent, they quickly brought some over without hesitation. That kind of thoughtful service makes all the difference. Great value, excellent location, and genuine hospitality—definitely recommend this cozy little gem if you’re visiting Kunming.

After checking in, she helped me plan the perfect itinerary, even stepping in when I missed the spa soaking time by preparing a bath kit with salts and a tub cover. She also guided me through the entire bathing process, making it feel seamless and relaxing. The staff were incredibly professional—the humidifier was cleaned before use, and everything from the latex pillows to charging cables was thoughtfully provided. Even small things like reminders if I left something behind showed how genuinely cared for I felt. The room itself offered a serene view of distant mountains and endless skies, turning every moment into a peaceful escape. InterContinental Kunming

Staying at the InterContinental Kunming was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Facilities are top-notch: the indoor pool, spa-like hot spring, and well-equipped fitness center were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The lobby’s artistic design sets the tone for the whole experience—elegant and inviting. Surrounded by lush greenery and a serene garden atmosphere, the hotel feels like a peaceful retreat. A short stroll takes you straight to Hai'eng Dam, with easy access to ethnic villages and Hai'eng Park—ideal for sightseeing or just relaxing. Breakfast was exceptional—wide variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious flavors. The Chinese restaurant stood out especially; their claypot rice was rich, aromatic, and unforgettable. We originally booked just two nights but ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much. If you're looking for comfort, charm, and great value in Kunming, this is the place to be.
