Olympos Pension
Staying at Olympos Pension was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well-organized. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the owner couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful—clear, warm, and attentive to our needs. The room was small but perfectly functional for a short stay. Despite its size, it was cleverly designed: clean, tidy, and well-equipped with air conditioning (which we actually used!), a mini-fridge, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a decent hairdryer. The bathroom was compact but spotless, though it didn’t have a bidet—a common feature missing in many Greek hotels, so no surprise there. One minor note: while there wasn’t a dedicated space to hang wet swimsuits or towels, there was enough room on the rack for bathrobes and towels, which worked just fine. We were glad we didn’t need to pay extra for air conditioning, as the window is quite small and faces direct morning sun—without AC, it might’ve gotten uncomfortably hot. But thanks to the cooling system, we stayed cool and comfortable all day. The location is quiet yet convenient—just a 15-minute walk to the bus station, and the street itself is charming, full of local character. The property matched exactly what was shown online, which is always reassuring. Oh, and one little highlight: a gorgeous, affectionate cat who lives on-site—cute, calm, and never intrusive. Plus, the owner offered to drive us to the bus stop for free, though we accidentally misunderstood the timing (my fault—I misread the English schedule). Still, the gesture showed real care. Overall, this was a relaxing, authentic stay with great value and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend for travelers looking for a peaceful, personal touch in Rhodes.
