We arrived early, so the room wasn’t ready yet—we just dropped off our bags and headed out for lunch. When checking in, the staff member kindly upgraded us to a twin-bed room at no extra cost. I was expecting two single beds, but instead got two double beds—perfect for my parents to rest comfortably! The room was cleaned daily, and amenities were replenished regularly. Getting to major attractions like Beijing Road, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, and Chen Clan Ancestral Hall was super convenient—most places are accessible via metro without too many transfers. The hidden gem was the small garden behind the hotel—lush greenery, peaceful and beautifully designed. Perfect for morning walks, post-lunch strolls, or relaxing in the evening. A small note: on our first morning, we had breakfast at the ground-floor restaurant. The staff welcomed us and asked what drinks we’d like, but then didn’t follow up with service. If they were busy, perhaps skipping the question would have made the experience smoother—just get the drinks to the table quickly instead. Overall, though, this stay was exceptional.

The location is incredibly convenient—right next to a metro station, which was great even if we didn’t use it daily. The garden area is peaceful and well-maintained, but what really stood out was the complimentary guided tour. At 2 PM, we were led by Mandy, a top-tier guide, who gave a detailed and engaging walkthrough of the facilities, including the fourth-floor museum. My mom was absolutely delighted—it was such a thoughtful addition, and I sincerely hope the hotel keeps this program alive. Service quality was outstanding throughout: warm welcome at check-in, dedicated staff operating elevators on every floor, and even personnel on duty at the lobby after midnight. On my birthday, they surprised us with a beautifully decorated room, a delicious cake (which was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had!), and Zoe personally helped carry my luggage up to the room. When there was a minor air-con issue, they responded immediately—even though it turned out not to be faulty, they still proactively opened the window for fresh air. That kind of care goes beyond expectations. Breakfast options were excellent too: three different venues across the ground floor, the 30th-floor revolving restaurant, and the Yuan Tao Hall. We stayed three nights and managed to try all three. Plus, the platform voucher included afternoon tea and happy hour—such an amazing value-add. We recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre with our family during a trip to Guangzhou, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! We booked four rooms for two nights, accommodating eight adults and two infants. The hotel kindly upgraded two of our rooms, which made a big difference in comfort and space—truly appreciated. Located right in the heart of the city, the hotel offers convenient access to everything we wanted to explore. Plus, having on-site parking was a huge plus since we were traveling by car. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. Two team members immediately stepped forward to help carry baby strollers—such a thoughtful gesture that made our journey much smoother with little ones in tow. Special thanks to Yumi, who handled all our pre-arrival requests with care and professionalism. She patiently coordinated our room preferences and special notes, and her warm, attentive service made us feel truly valued throughout our stay. The hotel is very family-friendly: free cribs were provided, and there’s a small but well-equipped kids’ play area on the 8th floor. Our two young children had a blast playing there, giving us a chance to relax and enjoy some quiet time. It’s not massive, but perfect for little ones to burn off energy. Overall, the level of service, cleanliness, location, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. If we ever return to Guangzhou, this will be our first choice without hesitation.

Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun

My stay at Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun was truly exceptional, especially the Executive Lounge experience. The light snacks and beverages were outstanding—far beyond my expectations and definitely among the top tier of five-star hotels in Guangzhou. The pool area is fantastic: clean water, well-maintained, and perfect for a refreshing swim—ideal for someone who enjoys swimming. Breakfast leaned slightly toward Western style, but the quality of ingredients and presentation were excellent. Staff were courteous and warm throughout the morning, and I appreciated the complimentary member treats—like the pork siu mai pastry, which was deliciously flaky and flavorful. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. This was a memorable stay, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. A solid five-star experience from start to finish.
