The lobby even offers thoughtful touches like hand cream, passionfruit drinks, and skincare items—small details that make a big difference. When I mentioned during booking that I was bringing my mom for a relaxing getaway and requested a quiet, high-floor room with a view, they upgraded me to a city-view room at no extra cost—truly heartwarming. The housekeeping staff was equally impressive; since we stayed multiple days and didn’t request cleaning, she proactively reached out to bring fresh water, asked if I needed a new trash bag, and reminded me to reach out anytime. That kind of care really stands out. Plus, checking out until 2 PM is such a lifesaver for late arrivals. And the location? Perfect. It’s just a short walk to Elephant Trunk Hill, the Moon and Sun Towers, and other top sights—no need for long commutes. Everything’s within easy reach. Staying at Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill Manhattan Hotel was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk to the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill scenic area, making it super convenient for exploring the city’s highlights. Public transportation and local dining options are within easy reach, offering great flexibility. Despite some construction noise from a neighboring building during our stay, the front desk staff—Xiao Xiu and Xiao Xie—were incredibly thoughtful. They proactively upgraded us to a larger, more comfortable room with all modern amenities, which made a big difference. The breakfast was satisfying and varied, with plenty of fresh options. While the noise was a minor inconvenience, it didn’t overshadow the overall excellent service and comfort. Highly recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a central, well-run base in Guilin.

Inside the hotel, every room is spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with modern amenities. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, making it perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was fantastic—plenty of variety, including both local and international favorites, all freshly prepared and delicious. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Front desk staff member 01 was incredibly helpful and even offered us a cup of ginger tea, which was perfect on a chilly evening. My room was exceptionally quiet—no outside noise at all—making it easy to relax and sleep well. The whole experience was smooth, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in Guilin.

My phone connected smoothly via Bluetooth for music streaming—no hassle at all. But what truly stood out was the service: genuinely warm, attentive, and personal. Located near Seven Star Park and the university area, it’s perfect for both sightseeing and business travel. Easy access to local attractions and public transport makes it a convenient choice. This has been the most satisfying stay at a B&B I’ve ever had. Before arrival, Sister Jiang reached out via WeChat and arranged airport pickup—her service was exceptional from start to finish. Originally booked for just two nights, I ended up extending by another two because the experience was so relaxing and enjoyable. Throughout my trip, her travel tips were spot-on and genuinely helpful, making everything smoother. The property is spacious with plenty of common areas—on the upper floor there’s a laundry room and drying area, and if you’re too busy, the staff even washes and dries your clothes for you. She invited us to sing karaoke in the cozy basement lounge, which made for a perfect evening after a day of exploring. Sitting in the garden or lounging in the main hall, chatting or just zoning out, felt like pure bliss. The garden is full of lush plants and flowers, and there's a giant tree towering over the yard—almost like a small forest! Two adorable little cats wander around the grounds, adding charm to the atmosphere. There’s also a private karaoke room and a dedicated mahjong room, ideal for group fun. Nearby, Fuyuanju’s oil tea is absolutely delicious—rich, aromatic, and warming. And right outside the door, you can rent bikes with a simple QR code scan, making it super easy to visit places like Dongxi Alley and Elephant Trunk Hill. Room amenities are top-notch: everything is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped—including high-quality disposable items and even toilet seat covers. Heating, hot water, and overall cleanliness were all excellent. If it weren’t for work pulling me back, I’d have stayed much longer. This stay truly exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely come back and highly recommend this place to friends. A memorable trip from start to finish!

They’ve also split the washer and dryer into separate units instead of having them combined—such a practical upgrade! I love staying here because it’s right in the heart of the city, making it super easy to explore on foot or by metro. And as always, the staff are fantastic—friendly, energetic, and genuinely care about guest experience. Definitely worth a shoutout!

Staying at Global Village Jade Inn was an absolute delight! I tried a few places where locals go, and their 2-liang (about 100g) bowl of rice noodles cost only ¥6—way cheaper than anywhere else I've been in the city. On my last morning, I ordered takeout for breakfast and it came in at just ¥9—definitely more than a regular serving size. To top it off, the staff went above and beyond by leaving a small thoughtful gift upon check-in. Clean rooms, friendly service, and unbeatable value—all while being steps away from everything. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guilin.
