After some back-and-forth verification, we found out that someone with the same last name had already checked in, and their information had been mistakenly linked to my booking. We were told to wait for her to return. Fortunately, one of my travel companions had a private room, so we stayed in her room temporarily since there was no seating area in the lobby. We waited past midnight, and I started worrying—what if my friend hadn’t reserved a second room? Would we have had to sleep outside? It’s not just inconvenient—it’s a serious issue. Thankfully, the hotel eventually sorted it out and gave us our room. They were also staying in two separate rooms, so no real disruption occurred.
