Just strolling in the sunshine felt like a mini escape from reality. The staff were proactive even before check-in, reaching out to ask about our preferences, and continued checking in throughout our stay—very attentive without being intrusive. From front desk to concierge, everyone responded quickly and warmly. We tried the yakitori dinner at Yiba and breakfast, both of which were delicious and well-prepared. Despite the surprisingly long corridors in the guest rooms—some of us joked we’d need a map to find our way back—the overall experience was outstanding. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a peaceful retreat that made our weekend truly memorable.

I’ve been to Hangzhou every year, and this time I decided to stay at a tea plantation in Longjing Village. After comparing several options on the platform, I chose Landison Longjing Resort for its perfect balance of location, service, and value. Nestled right in the heart of the tea fields, the resort offers breathtaking views of endless green tea gardens. Along the winding roads, you’ll see local farmers harvesting and processing tea—so authentic and peaceful. The staff were exceptional from start to finish. Front desk agent Xiao Chen was incredibly attentive—when we asked for a better view room, he personally escorted us upstairs to pick one, even upgraded us without hesitation. When we preferred staying in, he brought extra bottled water for brewing tea. The rooms are spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows framing stunning mountain views. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Even the complimentary Longjing tea in the room was fresh and fragrant. Breakfast was simple but delicious—the eggs were perfectly cooked, and the noodles were so good I ended up eating three portions! I requested a late checkout, and when I left, Xiao Chen again went out of his way—bringing water, helping load luggage, and even waiving the fee for a broken glass. That kind of thoughtfulness truly made my stay unforgettable. Yes, some facilities show signs of age, but considering the serene setting, top-tier service, and great value, this resort is absolutely worth it. If I ever return to Hangzhou for a tea-focused getaway, I’d choose this place again without hesitation.

I especially loved the Hanfu photo experience; I changed into a traditional outfit and took countless stunning pictures. The staff were exceptional—especially Xiao Jie and Weiwei, who went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. They made me feel right at home. The vibe is peaceful, with the gentle embrace of San Tai Mountain nearby, making it feel like nature’s own retreat. With only 15 rooms, each one thoughtfully designed with unique character—my favorite was the starlit room with its skylight, where I spent an evening lounging in the bathtub, counting stars with my kids under a clear sky. Inside, top-tier air purifiers and eco-friendly toiletries add a layer of comfort and wellness. The ground floor has a cozy reading nook where I sipped coffee and lost myself in a novel. But the real highlight? The outdoor infinity pool with constant temperature—perfect for unwinding with friends, soaking in warm water while sipping wine as dusk settles over the lake. We were incredibly lucky during the New Year holiday when the hotel upgraded our room at no extra cost—what a wonderful surprise! The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, even though the balcony felt a bit chilly. However, the view and overall atmosphere made it well worth it. The resort’s architecture is truly unique—each balcony feels like it’s nestled in a loft with a striking sloped design. Surrounded by serene mountain scenery, the property beautifully blends traditional elements: pavilions, bridges, and flowing waterways create a peaceful, almost dreamlike setting. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner on-site, and every meal was satisfying and delicious. It’s rare to find such charm, tranquility, and excellent service all in one place. A perfect getaway that exceeded all expectations.

I’ve long admired Wangzhuang, the iconic lakeside retreat near West Lake in Hangzhou, and finally had the chance to stay here during a Black Friday deal that felt like a steal. The moment I stepped in, I could tell this was something special—excellent service, top-notch dining, and an atmosphere that truly feels luxurious. The property is vast, with beautifully maintained lawns and trees. Since we visited right at peak season for maple and ginkgo foliage, the grounds were gently dusted with golden leaves, creating a magical, almost cinematic setting. Paths are clean and well-kept, making it easy to wander around for hours just taking photos and soaking in the scenery. We booked the daily 10 AM 'Wangzhuang Cruise' tour, which circles West Lake in about an hour. The boat itself is spotless, with comfortable upholstered seats, air-conditioned enclosed cabins, and panoramic glass windows that offer stunning views of both sides of the lake. I especially loved standing at the back deck to capture sweeping shots of the water and gardens—absolutely breathtaking. The highlight of the stay was the complimentary photography package. While one of the staff members from Hainan came across as rather abrupt and inflexible, the photographer, Mr. Song, and the makeup artist were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Their work brought out the best in our photos, and the final results were truly memorable. Overall, despite a minor hiccup, the experience exceeded expectations—this place deserves every bit of its reputation.

The autumn in Jiangnan truly shines at Sisan Resort. From the moment I stepped in, I was wrapped in a serene and refined atmosphere—every corner of the hotel exudes character, with minimal crowds and an effortlessly calm vibe that’s perfect for a true staycation. The bathroom scent was subtle yet delightful, instantly setting a relaxing tone. The mini-bar was stocked with an impressive variety of snacks and drinks—perfect for late-night cravings or morning refreshments. But honestly, the highlight was the breakfast at Yueya Restaurant. It’s hands down the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had—endless options, beautifully presented, and each dish tasted thoughtfully crafted. I could’ve stayed there just for the food alone. The entire experience was flawless, and I couldn’t stop taking photos. Pure bliss. Definitely coming back.
