The area feels quiet and secluded, almost like a private retreat tucked within the city, yet everything you need is within reach. The villa design is elegant and thoughtfully crafted—each room has a unique charm with high-end finishes that really elevate the experience. One small note: some rooms could benefit from better ventilation as they felt slightly damp at times, but opening the windows helped clear it up quickly. Overall, this place offers a rare blend of luxury, tranquility, and accessibility. Perfect for travelers who want to feel like they’re in a hidden gem without sacrificing convenience. I’ll definitely be back.

Donggang international residence Huluzhan Homestay Sea View Hotel (Dalian Venice water city store)

This was my second stay at Donggang International Residence Huluzhan Homestay, and I’m just as impressed as the first time. The room was spotless and meticulously kept—every detail felt thoughtfully designed. The host went above and beyond by upgrading me to a better room both times, completely free of charge. That kind of personal touch really stands out. Located just steps from the metro station, it’s super convenient for getting around town and reaching nearby attractions like Venice Water City. The building has keycard access to the elevator, which adds a great sense of security—perfect for solo travelers or families. Clean, quiet, well-located, and incredibly welcoming. This place offers amazing value and comfort. Definitely planning to come back!

New World Dalian Hotel

Staying at New World Dalian Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed—with a standalone bathtub that made for a relaxing soak after a long day. All the bathroom amenities were from Marlin Doggo, which added a nice touch with their fresh scent and high-quality feel. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly—especially one blonde girl with a side-swept fringe who had such a cheerful attitude, and another with dark hair and big eyes who was just as warm and helpful. The housekeeping staff in room 1811 stood out too—she greeted me every time I left the room, kept everything spotless, and even offered genuine recommendations on fun spots around Dalian. After breakfast, walking back into a perfectly tidy room felt like a small daily treat. The breakfast spread was fantastic—huge variety, with both Western and local options covered. The view from the room was stunning, overlooking the bustling city lights and catching glimpses of the sea in the distance. Plus, the hotel’s location is unbeatable—right next to a high-end shopping mall and super accessible for public transit. If I ever come back to Dalian, this will be my first choice without hesitation. A truly memorable stay.

Shangri-La Hotel Dalian

We had an absolutely wonderful family stay at Shangri-La Hotel Dalian, and I can confidently say it was one of the best kid-friendly hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The children’s themed room was a hit—colorful, playful, and packed with fun details that instantly delighted our little ones. From themed toiletries to small toys, every touch showed genuine thoughtfulness. Our kids were entertained for hours, thanks to the excellent in-house play areas—perfect for burning off energy without any stress. As adults, we also appreciated the beautifully maintained indoor pool with clear, warm water—ideal for relaxing after a long day. The service truly stood out too: special thanks to Yina for her warm, attentive hospitality, always ready to help; and the housekeeping staff who kept the room spotless and welcoming. The location is fantastic—close to the waterfront but still convenient for city exploration. With top-tier amenities, thoughtful family services, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this hotel lives up to its five-star reputation. We’ll definitely be returning when we come back to Dalian with the kids.

Furama Hotel Dalian

Staying at Furama Hotel Dalian was an absolute highlight of my trip to Dalian. As the first five-star hotel in Northeast China, it’s impressive how well-preserved and vibrant this property remains after all these years. The room was spotless, with crisp, comfortable bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The ground-floor mall is well-stocked with a wide variety of goods—perfect for picking up souvenirs or everyday essentials. The pool water temperature was just right, and the hot tub was a real treat for unwinding after a long day. I especially want to commend the front desk staff, Xu Qingsong from the pool and sauna area, and swimming instructor Bao Xin—their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail truly stood out. They went above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience. From the ambiance to the service, every aspect felt premium. Without hesitation, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dalian.

InterContinental Dalian

Staying at the InterContinental Dalian was an absolutely delightful experience. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from Dalian Station, making it incredibly convenient for both arrivals and departures. The room itself was spotless and thoughtfully designed. The hairdryer was powerful with minimal noise and dried my hair in no time—perfect for early mornings or last-minute touch-ups. The air conditioning was whisper-quiet, which was a game-changer for me as someone who struggles with sleep due to noise sensitivity. I also loved the robot delivery service—it added a fun, futuristic touch to the stay and made getting snacks or essentials super easy. The only minor drawbacks were the slightly awkward bathroom latch and the sink faucet, which took a bit of fiddling to get the right temperature. But honestly, these were just small details in an otherwise outstanding stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Overall, the comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality made this hotel stand out. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to return.

Hotel Nikko Dalian

This stay exceeded all my expectations! I have to give a special shoutout to the front desk staff, Sally and Xiao Miao—check-in was quick and seamless, and their friendly service made me feel right at home. They even recommended some fantastic local eateries nearby and gave clear walking directions, which was incredibly helpful. The room might be a bit dated, but it’s super comfortable and well-maintained. Plus, the four brand-new elevators (by Mitsubishi!) run smoothly and give you peace of mind. Location-wise, it’s perfect—just steps from the metro and bus stops, making getting around town a breeze. For the comfort, convenience, and value, this hotel is a standout. I’ll definitely be coming back to Dalian and choosing this one again.
