The front desk team went above and beyond by gifting our elderly parents a pair of herbal massage mallets, which they loved so much they asked for another the next day. When one of our parents wasn’t feeling well, the team kindly allowed us to take breakfast back to the room—such thoughtful flexibility. Housekeeping staff always smiled and said hello, making us feel truly at home. The pool is exceptional—crystal-clear water with perfect temperature, far better than many other hotels we’ve stayed in. It’s definitely a must-visit spot. The fitness center is top-notch, equipped with modern machines, plus there’s a sauna, table tennis, and even snooker—a fantastic bonus for relaxation and fun. Staying at Tianyu Gloria Grand Hotel in Xi'an was an absolutely delightful surprise! Breakfast was incredible—huge variety with both Western and local Chinese options, making every morning a treat. What really stood out was the little welcome gift upon check-in; it was so thoughtfully chosen and genuinely appreciated. We slept like babies all night thanks to the quiet, comfortable room. Plus, the location can't be beat—right next to the metro station and bus stop, so getting around the city was super easy. This stay wasn’t just comfortable—it became one of our favorite memories from our trip to Xi'an. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city!

The location is perfect—right next to the metro station and surrounded by shopping malls with tons of dining options. Getting around town is super convenient, and everything you need is just a short walk away. The room was immaculate, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable—great for a restful night’s sleep. The front desk staff were friendly and attentive, even helped me register my license plate for free parking during my stay. There were plenty of parking spaces available, which made things stress-free. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I’d absolutely stay here again the next time I visit Xi’an.

Grand Mercure Xian Renmin Square

Staying at Grand Mercure Xian Renmin Square was such a memorable experience—this place holds deep sentimental value for many locals in Xi'an. I lived here in the 70s and early 80s, and every time I passed by that iconic main building (now part of Sofitel Legend), it brought back so many memories. This recent four-night stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. On sunny days, I loved walking around the quiet courtyard—it’s peaceful and full of charm. The staff were incredibly attentive: someone guided me to park, and others helped with luggage without being asked. Breakfast was generous and delicious, with great variety. Just steps away is Xincheng Square—perfect for a morning stroll among the friendly pigeons. In about 15 minutes on foot, you can reach Muslim Quarter (Beiyuanmen) and even walk straight to Bell Tower. There’s also a small museum inside the Sofitel Legend building that shares the rich history of the original Renmin Building, including photos of famous visitors over the years. It’s like staying in a living piece of history. With its unbeatable location, warm hospitality, and unique heritage vibe, this hotel offers amazing value. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Xi'an.

The staff went above and beyond—they were friendly, respectful of privacy, and always ready to help without being intrusive. Their professionalism and genuine care truly stood out. Honestly, the service quality exceeds what you'd expect at this price point. It’s rare to find such a great balance between comfort, cleanliness, convenience, and hospitality. I've stayed here multiple times whenever I visit Xi'an, and it never disappoints. Located right within the Tang West Market area, the hotel is spacious and features a stunning architectural design that truly captures the essence of the Tang Dynasty. We stayed at Mehood Hotel (Xi'an Dayan Pagoda Great Tang All Day Mall Branch) during the off-season with our kids, and it was a fantastic experience overall. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff greeted us with warm welcome tea—during winter, they even offered a soothing pear and rock sugar drink to help with dryness. They also provided little kid-sized slippers, which my children loved. Room service was prompt, and everything arrived quickly. The breakfast buffet was delicious, but I have to say the fried eggs were absolutely outstanding—perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, soft inside. The hotel has a free parking lot, which made exploring the city by car super convenient. We were disappointed we couldn’t get tickets to the Shaanxi History Museum—it’s notoriously hard to book—but the front desk staff immediately suggested some great alternative attractions that were perfect for families. Their recommendations were thoughtful and helpful. With its excellent location near the Tang Paradise area, friendly staff, and attention to detail, this hotel offers incredible value. Definitely a top pick if you're visiting Xi’an with kids.

The room itself was spot-on: a spacious desk with perfectly balanced ambient lighting, ideal for working or relaxing. But the real highlight? The bedding. The mattress had just the right firmness, and they offered both memory foam and buckwheat pillows—my personal dream setup. I fell asleep instantly and slept like a baby. Breakfast was fantastic—plenty of options, including authentic Xi’an-style Sāozi Miàn, plus fresh coffee and juice. Filled me up and ready to hit the streets. Breakfast was fantastic—daily rotating menu with fresh, diverse options that kept us excited every morning. My parents especially loved the afternoon tea service; after a long day of exploring, returning to a cozy corner with a warm drink and light bites was pure bliss. This hotel delivers on comfort, convenience, and charm. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Xi’an—and I’ll definitely be back.
