This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.

The hotel is just a 10-minute drive from in77 or a short 10-minute walk from the metro station—perfect for exploring the city without hassle. There are several great dining options nearby, so you never have to go far for a meal. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—always willing to help and proactive with any request. I especially appreciated the warm and genuine service. The floor attendant named Mei Hong was also very helpful and always on hand when needed. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be adding a small trash bin near the sink and more power outlets by the bed for convenience. Overall, this is a comfortable, well-located hotel with excellent service—highly recommend for travelers looking for value and hospitality.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect—it's literally steps away from West Lake, with easy access to both Six Park and Five Park. Walking along the lakeside path is a delight, and nearby there’s a wartime memorial sculpture that adds a meaningful historical touch to the area. The staff went above and beyond in their service—especially when it came to meal delivery. Since we were traveling with an elderly family member who had difficulty getting to the dining area, the hotel kindly arranged for meals to be delivered to our room for two consecutive days. That level of care made a huge difference. From the prime location to the thoughtful hospitality, every detail felt just right. This place truly delivers on comfort, convenience, and warmth—highly recommend for anyone visiting Hangzhou.

The breakfast buffet was impressive: fresh noodles, steamed dumplings, porridge, and more—all prepared on-site with great care and flavor. I was also impressed by the convenient location—just a short ride to West Lake and the city center, making it easy to explore. Public transportation is nearby, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth stay. The bed is huge—yes, that little doll in the photo is mine, and it looked adorable just lying there. We booked a twin-bed room, which had just the right amount of space—neither too cramped nor too empty. The bathroom was spotless, and the desk came with a lamp, which my daughter used to do her homework while I set up my laptop nearby for some quick work. But what really stood out was the breakfast service. We arrived around 9:58 AM, thinking the dining area might already be closing, but the staff member kindly made fresh noodles for us, along with bread and coffee—served warmly and generously. We ended up eating until 10:30, which felt like a little treat. Even though the price point is affordable, the comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality make it feel much more upscale. For families looking for a reliable, convenient, and budget-friendly option in Hangzhou, this hotel is absolutely worth considering.

When I returned in the evening, check-in went smoothly, and the front desk staff, especially Xiao Jiang, was incredibly friendly and attentive. She even upgraded us to a larger room at no extra cost—such a nice surprise! The room itself is spacious, bright, and immaculately clean. They’ve thought of everything: quality toiletries, extra pillows, and a very comfortable bed. Plus, it’s just a short walk from the metro station, making it easy to explore the city—especially the West Lake and downtown shopping areas. Shusheng Xunzhen No.2 Courtyard (Lingyin Temple Branch)

Staying here for two days was absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Cai Shen Temple cable car entrance, so no need to worry about parking near Lingyin Temple. The room was quiet, cozy, and spotlessly clean with lightweight yet warm bedding that made it feel like home. The hostess even turned on the AC before I arrived—such thoughtful touches really stood out. On day one, I followed a scenic route from Cai Shen Temple down through Chongguang Temple, Yongfu Temple, all the way to Lingyin Temple without backtracking. I managed to catch the evening chanting ceremony, counted the arhats, and felt truly blessed by the serenity of it all. Day two started with a trip to Fajixi Temple, which is a bit farther away. The host kindly drove me there and later picked me up—no hassle at all. On the return, I took a local electric shuttle or walked through the Three Zhen temples, each step filled with history and beauty: from the Kangxi inscription at Sanmo Temple to the old pavilion where Li Shutong once meditated. I stopped by Fajing Temple to pick up some traditional mooncakes—locals swear by them. Then wandered through Fajing Temple’s sacred grounds and stood by the famous Sanyi Stone, pondering what “non-dual path” truly means. Back at Lingyin Temple’s Feilai Entrance, the highlight of the journey was eating at Pumeng Vegetarian Restaurant. It required a short wait, but every bite was worth it—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Afterward, a quick 2-minute walk brought me back to the inn, where I relaxed with a cup of Jiuxiao Hongmei tea, played with the adorable cat in the courtyard, and admired the view of the first Cai Shen Temple. Two days flew by in peace and joy—this stay wasn’t just comfortable, it was deeply meaningful. I’ll definitely be back.
